Glory of Battle timer starts when you create your account, and does not reset if you jump. I no longer have the event as the timer ran out. The Victory in Hand seems to have refreshed its cooldown so it looks like I can compete in that event still.

How do you have glory of battle event and victory in hand, from what i knew if you jumped you wouldn t have those events

Take me around 1 month to reach 2.5M power when jumping
Yea, it's a slow grind but keep at it and your power will keep growing steadily.
