Your dress is so adorable Donna! I'm surprised that I don't have this pattern in my stash so I will have to search for one. I love your process and method of sewing. I can relate to the occasional "fails" but as you said, focus on what successes you accomplish and enjoy those. I am also slow and do more than that simple pattern calls for, working on it until it's just right 😊 Thank you for sharing your beautiful dress and sewing process. Happy Sewing! 🥰💖
@maryrames6247 Yes, check for that pattern. A while back, I made the long version with the ruffles. It was nice also. It is true, each sewist has their way. My one & only sew along was over 2 hours😅😅. But I do want it to be right🫠. Thank you for your support
Hi Donna, love your videos and thanks for sharing your sewing room and sewing procedures. I sew often also although there are no sewist in my immediate family. I buy lots of fabric and have a substantial stash. But in the long run I am thankful for that stash because I am able to realize my project without going to the store most times. Last year I did a little batch cutting and that was a fail for me. I still have garments cut out and not sewn because something comes up and none of the garments cut fit the bill at that time. So I didn't do that again. And at the start of the year I tried to sew up some of them, but failed at that too. I was no longer excited about the garment since I didn't need it. Also, some don't fit anymore because of weight loss. So no more batch cutting for me. And I also wonder why UA-cam keeps making me subscribe over and over again and won't stay subscribed. Seems like a new process this year and for most of the videos I watch regularly. I shouldn't have to re-subscribe almost everytime I watch a video. So enough said, have a beautiful day and I will continue watching your sewing journey, its sew good.
Hello! It is good to have a stash. There are plenty of times I wanted to make something (right then & now) & did not have enough choices in my stash. I don't always understand the dynamics of youtube, so I apologize for the inconvenience. I do appreciate you watching. Thank you so much. Happy Sewing
There again Donna, you look great in your dress, l have that pattern as well. Now l know what it looks like when made up! Thank you for sharing! 🤗♥️
@@tinawilson5020 You are welcome. I made the longer version with the ruffles. That one was nice as well. I wasn't posting on youtube at that time😅
