That first pike was trying to keep the worm so badly, while watching you struggling to get it out of his mouth I said to myself out loud....give me my worm back, just a split second before you said the exact same thing!! That was hilarious! Man! I watch A LOT of fishing channels here on you tube, NO ONE catches smallies anywhere even remotely as big as the ones you're pulling out of the water!!!!! And with such consistency too! It's very impressive my friend, VERY IMPRESSIVE!!! Thanks for sharing the footage with us!!!

Every time I see one of those what looks to be apartment buildings in the background I say boy would I like to live there. My yak would be on the bank every day. Nice fish, quality always better than numbers.

Yea that pike wasn't bad at all, I really enjoyed that segment being a pike angler myself. Always good to see them being caught with something less conventional i.e a wacky rig 😉🤙
Man, I can't believe the number of giant smallmouth you have in the waters in your area. Those 20 inch fish probably average 10 to 12 years to get that big.
@Harley Mace yeah man, as you say, I guess it's even more impressive. It just blows my mind the lack of respect some people have for these creatures. I have no problems with harvesting for subsistence but there are some real jerks out there in terms of their catch and release practices.
Wow, do the folks that live there know that there's great fishing there? Amazing to find such quality fish in a city environment. The views of the fish fighting just below the surface were some of the best I've seen, great water quality.
I’m surprised I don’t see more people fishing this area. There’s usually a couple people shore fishing on weekends and another kayak or two occasionally but I’ve never seen it too busy out there.
Must be nice to have so many lakes to fish and all close by with such a variety of fish. We only have a few big reservoirs down here in Texas and not a big variety of kinds of fish. Lucky guy.
I get so envious watching these videos.. I never catch fish whenever I go out and it gets so frustrating. There’s a couple reservoirs out by my work I want to go to, but I definitely need a kayak. And no matter what lures I use I never have any luck
Man it would be nice to fish some clear unpressured water. I'm out here on the east coast fishing in chocolate milk for fish that have seen 18 senkos earlier that same day lol. Great to have a new video from you!
HEY! Once you go wacky, you never go backy. I've used braid with 80lb test fluorocarbon. Them northerns STILL snap it off. Went to ultra light steel leaders and still catch em.

Nope, I fish around Washington DC
@@Nate_Cross oh ok. Raystown has some huge fish in it but it's a big lake. 33 mile long I believe and it's over 150 foot deep in places

I caught a couple surprise walleye throwing a 6.5” swimbait for musky a couple weeks back!
