Watch as past Dublin Dock Workers George ‘Bronco’ Dennis, Christy McDonnell and John ‘Miley’ Walsh bring to life stories of ‘The Button' and how it was established on the docks in 1947 by the unions. Those who held a button became known as ‘The Buttonmen’ and who now had to be selected for work before non-buttonmen at the read.
