@xDaNiEldrummerx I learned guitar by playing classic rock. guns n roses, def leppard, acdc. I mainly play drop tuning because that's how I prefer to play guitar. I play and write other music that isn't post-hardcore too.
you know the thing which is between the frets that line usually gold or silver.. Put your finger on that thing which is between 5-th and 6-th fret but dont push the string down only lay your finger there..and hit the string..dont forget to turn on distortion and set your guitar on bridge pickup...this also works on that thing afer 4th,7th,9th,12th,16,19,24th fret on every string
Actually, what you are describing is a natural harmonic. Its similar, but the technique used in the video is called a pinch harmonic. you achieve it by brushing the string with your thumb as you pick the note. if done correctly it will cause a little squealy
OMG for how long do you play? I want to play this sort of music too with my electric guitar, this is the only thing i want to learn :P you have some tips?
actually in the middle of the song where the clean part kick in the first guitar plays some low notes in the G and B string...i can send u the tabs if u like :P
man beliebe its natural harmonic .. I play this song on guitar most commonly and I always do the natural harmonic and it sounds excatly same..but I am not sure about one that comes in about 0:55 but he (the guy in video) doesnt play it
