Yep that's how fighting game should be almost like real boxing match jabs and low poke to find an opening and hit with fatal blow (combos)
I think everyone just needs more time with the game, it hasn't been that long since it came out, and the quality of play has improved immensely since Evo Japan. I think T7 was pretty similar back in 2015 when it first game out, and got a lot more fun to watch as people adjusted to the changes.
Everyone was whining about T7 back in the day too.
Ppl rely so much on tanking hits for wins. Hopefully they change this back in the next Tekken.
Nobi is a Dragunov master, I've watched him play that character for a decade but I can't believe how great Atif plays. We know how great Nobi was since Tekken 5,6 and Tag 2 era. But Atif already knew how to counter Nobi's playing style in the first place. It hurts to the butt, but Atif is arguably the best dragunov yet.

Nina is broken as fuck, Alisa is broken as fuck, Feng same type of stuff, but Dragunov there is actually a difference between like Tekken King and GOD, which doesn't feel like there is a difference, well atleast not as huge of a difference with Nina, Alisa, Feng and so on and so forth
