He's buried over there. He lived in Bugibba and Qawra in the north-east, I must have visited 10 or 15 times. In Stanley gibbons catalogue for British commonwealth is mentioned x3 or x4 . is this x3 time of the mint value of the stamp, or the used value of the stamp in the catalog ? Hope you can help me.
Hi, glad you like the videos. The SG catalogue gives a multiplier for the used value of the stamp. If there is more than one stamp on the cover the multiplier is only used once. Also bear in mind this only applies to postally used covers, not cancelled to order covers or first day covers. I hope this helps.

@@cristianefimov3611 good question! I had to look this up but it would appear that it's the multiplier for the most value stamp, plus the used value of the other......I think. Of course if you have an unusual combination then that will change. For FDC's there are specialist catalogues specifically for them.

My daughter lives there permanently now so it gives me a great excuse to visit regularly. Out of season it's a wonderful place to visit.
