Salut Valeriu,am un volvo motor D13C420 FH când scade sub 5 bari, după 10-15 minute începe sa facă aer ajunge la 11 bari și nu mai am probleme. Să fie compresorul sau vreo supapă?Ai idee ce poate fi .mulțumesc

Does this type of compresor have an unloader valve? And if so, where is it located?

There is a 1 quarter airline (discharge line) coming from air governor and is going to the front bottom of compressor to unloader valve, valve itself it's built in in the compressor, if compressor it's working continuously the problem can be the air governor, or can be the line between the governor and compressor loosing air! (It happens a lot) If it's leaking inside the compressor you should rebuild or replace the compressor!

Where is the unloader valve located on this type of compressor? I didn't see one.

Blue line 1/4 goes from air governor to the fitting in front of compressor, and through that fitting air goes to unloader valve!

Noise should come from it. When it builds air, noise should stop. When air drops, comoresor starts building air again, so noise start again.
