I work for Delta, and I feel really proud of it, now in my heart I feel something warm to see all your comments and support, even though all this covid sit has been really hard for us , I appreciate your opinions, thanks, take care from each other and will see you again...don't forget to fasten your seat belts!!!
I really liked flying with y’all too. Honestly the only thing I didn’t like was whenever an announcement was made on the plane, the volume in your headphones would be turned up to maximum. Still would want to fly again though.
Don't know why, but I find watching the take offs and landings so relaxing. And, especially during these uncertain times, it's just nice to see the souls on board safety reach their destinations (from the flight anyway). Really nice video!
Flying into Atlanta gives me the Willie's, but only because it and everyone is so busy. I've watched a TV documentary on how it all works and it's so dern amazing; and that has given me quite a boost in confidence.
I wish more people were into Aviation! There’s always so much to learn about it, whether it’s the Plane itself or an airport or jobs! There’s always something new everyday and it’s truly amazing. i’m so so glad i grew up the way i did going from loving Trains, to Cars, and now Aviation! You don’t even have to know a lot about aviation to like it. I feel like a lot of people judge you for your opinions nowadays. I don’t think aviation is something i will ever get over.
I've been a Delta customer and amateur aviation geek for 50+ years. Thanks for an engaging, diverse, and high-quality video of one of my favorite airports. Great work!
ATL is an amazing and efficient airport. I like it! The CBP process for me as a Dutch guy is very swift when entering the US via ATL. I can’t wait to be back in the US for another trip, long live the USA! 👍🏻
Nice of you to say! Long live the Netherlands! BTW, please ignore the idiot Trump-related comment! Remember, Trump lost the popular vote by over 3,000,000, Republicans lost in a historic landslide in 2018, AND he's trailing in the polls 11/03/2020 by even more. Besides, it's probably just a Russian troll.
@ 1:05, the hangar with *FLY DELTA JETS* atop it....That's my work space! Have loved this job for 25 years, this September. Best seat in the house too, when we have the hangar doors open 8-) Great video Alex! This is in January (pre-Corona Virus), looks nothing like this today. We're just up to about 25% of our operation now---ghost town around here.
Loves this airport...Delta is my favorite...Lord Jesus cover each pilot flight with ur precious Blood...Let ur almighty hand keep and protect all ,bless the airport workers in Jesus name Amen 🙏🏾 💯💯💯👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Respect to all those people that work to make airports and flights safe. With all the decades seeing flights, I've never noticed that aircrafts engines could change shape.
I live in suburban Atlanta and this video was very enjoyable to watch...the "FLY DELTA JETS" sign has been at the airport since the late 1960's...I grew up just a couple of miles away from the airport...
Delta has the largest and busiest hub of any airline in the world...all at the busiest airport in the world. Watching ATL operations is unlike any other airport...it's awesome!
I have a love/hate relationship with ATL. As an aviation enthusiast, I just love watching all of the planes coming and going, with airlines from all over the world. As the busiest airport, they usually have planes taking off just 40 seconds apart. With 5 active runways it is really amazing when you think of all the work that goes into the ATC. My husband worked in the Delta hangar (funny enough I was an aviation geek before I even met him, and his job has given me access to some of the greatest planes). At break time he would often go outside and watch them just lined up waiting to take off. Now as a traveler I hate going through there. It never fails, my plane comes in at the very end of one terminal, and I would have to run down, catch the subway to another terminal, then run to the very end of that one for my next flight within 30 minutes. It has made for some very tight connections.
I’ve had to do that as well. Arriving at gate C5 and trying to catch a connector at D15 is a real workout, even with the subway connection. I have a friend that thought it would be faster to try and jog from Concourse B to D. I don’t think he realized that it is almost a quarter mile between each concourse. LoL

I absolutely love planes. A very good friend of mine is the air traffic control manager for Hartsfield....I want to say a big thank you to him and his team for keeping our airways safe❤.....and my SO works for Delta IT big shout out Bae you and your team are doing an AMAZING job!
Did you know that (pre-pandemic) that Delta sells all sorts of surplus near their headquarters near the Delta museum? They are the second Friday of every month (the last couple have been cancelled due to Covid-19) You can by anything from old business class seats to dishes, and glasses. I saw a guy buy an entire lavatory (no joke). Anything that has a delta logo on it that they dont use anymore you can find there. I hope they can still have them some day soon. People wait in line before it starts to get in. I bet you would have fun there.
Alex, me again for a 2nd 'thought', in 20 minutes I've seen an hour's worth of takeoffs and landings of almost ALL the other spotter shows. This adds to my first 'comment', a live spotter show as LAX does. JMS
Great job Alex! Looked like an amazing time out there plane spotting in Atlanta! So many Delta planes!...but it makes sense because ATL is Delta’s HQ. Overall, Awesome vid....👏👍
I just discovered your YT channel, Alex. I like it. Will we be seeing more of this type of video? (Loved this one a whole lot; love commercial flights)
Thank you for the great video. It was so cool to see how much air the aircrafts could get once they leave the ground best example is 10:30 the Delta 717. I wish that this amount of aircrafts were still taking off and landing right now 12/9/2020. Hopefully, by this time next year, we will see this amount of aircrafts taking off and landing again. It's amazing this was only 25 minutes of what air travel used to be like.
Best video I’ve ever watch on UA-cam. Thanks for uploading this. I wouldn’t mind living next to an airport if I can see this everyday. Love the sound and sight of aviation.
Alex, your description strip on the top of the planes is very good. But another thing sometimes given on LAX which I equally enjoy, the time of the flight and the distance flown. JMS
SO Awesome But I dint see one plane come in from Myrtle beach LOL. Thats home for me. No worries. Great video production. To me the best landing was that last airbus 330 at 26:40 coming in from MSP!! That was smooth.
Hey Alex, I have not watched one of your videos for a while but I really enjoyed what I watched (I could not watch the entire length). I like the descriptions along the top. The next time I stay in the ATL overnight, I will check out the Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel, the views were wonderful. Those DL super-tugs are awesome. Good work.
Man what a great video!! So much goodness going on here for aviation nerds like me. The morning sunlight. The dew on the bodies of these birds before their first flight. The different aircraft types coming and going from all over the world. The general commotion of airport activities. THOSE VORTICES AND MADDOGS!!! Kudos to you man. You found a great spot to film from. For me the only thing missing was a cool storm approaching in the distance. Keep up the great work!
living here in the atlanta area for 34 years, ive contributed to probably a few thousand of those flights going in and out over the years both domestic and international, have watched KATL build from just 2 runways back when i first moved to Atlanta in 1986, to 4, to now 5 and from 4 Concourses, to now 7. A,B,C,D,E,F and T I Lived in Clayton County during the construction of Runway 10/28 ( the 5th runway ) man that was a giant rolling mess for a year. went to the Open House event for the 5th runway, got to drive the Jaguar Fast Response Crash Truck, ran the 2 mile marathon from one end to the other. and overall had a blast. And the Memories of the Old Ford Plant and the small rooftop hatch you could go stand up there and watch them come within 30 feet directly over your head.....ill miss those days the most. 1996 Olympics - The Concorde Visited KATL
Back in the late '90's, I used to park at a Marta station on the east side of Hartsfield and eat lunch there from time to time. I really, REALLY wish I would have filmed some of the landings and takeoffs there. It was a fairly transitional time in commercial aviation! You would see a lot of the twin jets you see now, but you also saw loads of 737-200's (those things really crackled), 727's, Tristars, DC-9's, and every now & then a DC-8 and an occasional 707. It's still fun, but a bit boorish with all of the "clone planes"...
Its super common in aircraft like the 717 and 737, which Delta have a ton of. I watch tons of them landing and unless the landing is either super hard or super smooth, the aircraft naturally rebounds slightly from the initial impact.
UA-cam recommends me this video and i was like maybe because my fiancee works here lol. Love watching this i understand why my fiancee really love his job as a FA. Amazing to watch.

I am the same I like to watch them before bed.
Same. Can watch all day but you’ll rarely catch me on a plane. Only when I have to.
The vortices off of the wings in the sunlight are absolutely stunning
Thank you for "labeling" each aircraft. Interesting to see the different destinations/origins of the flights.
