I've been watching your videos for several months. The trip to London is my dream since I was 8 (I'm almost 20 now). A few days ago, I booked a flight to London in February. I literally cried out of happiness 😭 can't wait to visit London in 114 days, but right now I'm binge watching your videos ♥️
I'm so happy for you! I know the feelimg. I have wanted to go to Ireland and London since I was 15. I'm 37 now and we are going in June. It's such a surreal and exciting feeling.
For me, that is the dream since childhood. I'm 22 now and study in The Netherlands. Since I have an Indian passport, I have to get a visa. And its only a 45 minute flight haha. Hopefully, I'll visit next year.
Thank you for the video, got this bookmarked when I come back next year! Just got back from my London trip a few days ago and had a blast, your videos helped put me at ease.
Hi, Jess, interesting and useful video with great ideas, although I'm not sure about tea flavoured gin. I always think an Iconic souvenir of London is a wall sized London underground map. Glad you recorded that in the summer anyone visiting recently may think those stories of it always raining in london are true. Looking forward to your next video soon.
This is interesting! Im planning to visit london within the next 2 years and def unique spots esp that local london art souvenir shop to check out. I rather go there esp with my budget.
Always love your suggestions, Jess. A question for you please. You know that limbo day when we check out of our London hotel in the morning and our flight home is 9pm? Any suggestions how we can make this day productive?
Leave your luggage at your hotel or at a luggage storage spot (article with those: loveandlondon.com/where-to-store-luggage-in-london/) then you can do anything. Have you gotten my 3-Day London Itinerary? One of those days will work perfectly. loveandlondon.com/3-day-london-itinerary
Penhaligon’s for perfumes approved by the prince of Wales, Fortnum & Mason for any foodie and Liberty for fabrics, scarves and other apparel are my places for quintessentially British and not crap souvenirs. Like others, I would also when at one of our world renowned museums and art galleries which are free also visit the gift shops especially at the London Transport museum for books on the architecture of the underground, die cast models of the old routemasters and other memorabilia, Victoria & Albert Museum has one of if not the best gift shop along with British museum. Department stores like John Lewis also have really nice and not too expensive things that you can take back for your loved ones.
I'm staying on the South Bank near the Imperial War Museum this Dec. Are there any shops in the area. I know I can find lots of shops near the river, just looking for real London souvenirs without taking the tube across London. Thanks
@@alistairwaterson6676 Thanks! I'll only be in London for 3 days and want to make the most of it. We have a lot planned but wanted to do some quick shopping if possible. I'll check out your recommendation.
@@alistairwaterson6676 All sounds great! I was looking at Flowers of the Forest, not sure how local it is. I'll have a look at your suggestions. Thanks! I have tours scheduled for the other side. :-)
@@alistairwaterson6676 Sounds like a must do. We were planning an evening walk at least once. I'll make sure that's part of it. Lower Marsh and Leake streets look good. The Walrus may be a stop not sure, have to clear it with my wife. Thanks for all the tips, it definitely helped.
Hi Kevin, this area is covered (shops and such included) in my 3-Day London Itinerary: loveandlondon.com/3-day-london-itinerary You have to know where you're going for good shopping, eating, etc.
Yes. This video is about 4 years old now. Our most updated recommendations are in our paid guides which include digital maps and a lot more: shop.loveandlondon.com
What do you say about all this gangs and stabbings in London (London drill and CCTV video's of London are really shocking) I already was two times in London cause I really like it but that's something I'm a little bit scared of.(sorry for my English) Greetings from Germany 😊

London Transport museum gift shop is also a great place for interesting and fun souvenirs.
Thank you so much, Jess, your videos are so helpful!
Thank you for the ideas! We can't wait to visit!
Love the videos!! Watched several of them numerous times!
Really good video Jess. Great choice of gems!
I love the tea shops in London, especially Camden Tea shop and Whittard of Chelsea
very cool! key chains are my biggest thing - small, effortless and an easy item you'll never outgrow.
Great stuff as always. 💕💕

Great Video I agree We Built this City is awesome place to shop!!
Holy Tourist...we bought a London Double Decker Bus print from We Built This City two trips ago. We loved that place.
Ah lovely!
I will go there i love your tips
I recommend Camden Town for buying souvenirs e.g. magnets , cups for just £1
Mmmmm this video is encouraging the opposite kind of stuff! lol
Chiswick is a sweet area to visit - and Chiswick High Road has lots of charity shops - very high end clothing
Wow very interesting I'm definitely bringing me a suvernoir back home to New York from my trip to London
Great. Thanks for watching Larry
I just returned and wish I'd seen this (and you filming) while I was there. Souvenir shops in Camden are double of what you might find in Greenwich.
Hope you had a great time!

That shop has now closed sadly!

Oh really cool!! Could you make a video on how American could live in London? Really enjoy your videos.
Thanks! Afraid I can't give immigration advice, you'll need to speak to a lawyer.

I bought some books as it is difficult to get them here in Spain.
I always stop at a grocery store before leaving London to pick up British snacks, candy, tea, etc. to take home.
Where can I get a good charm for my charm bracelet

is Gluten a big problem in UK? I can't eat gluten.
You'll eat easily here. I marked off all GF-friendly restaurants in the 3-Day London Itinerary: loveandlondon.com/3-day-london-itinerary
I've bought about a dozen hoodies and sweats with "LONDON" on it, about half of them ended up in Goodwill LOL
Exactly
❤
Just checked--We Built This City is closed. They do have a site online though.

So still summer in london
We film our videos in advance. Check the weather forecast if you're coming to London soon.
I've been watching this channel for a bit now for I'm going to London in January however isn't this video just a repeat? This was posted before.
No. Some shops were featured in other videos.
Yeah it seemed kind of repetitive.
Is Fordum and Mason still in business. Best tea
Fortnum and Mason... yes it is
We were in London a few weeks ago, before the craziness hit, and were disappointed to find that We Built This City is no longer in place :(
They'll be reopening in the summer!
"we built this city" seems to be closed 😱
Yup! This is quite an old video now ❤️ closed in early 2020

I second that
Would prefer NO background music while you are talking. Thanks for the videos.
That'd be so boring! lol
Im sorry to ask this. But are you being paid to recommend these places like the photographer etc. I want your authentic choices not bought ones.
That is my own service that I offer.
