@@emmarose4234 To Melissa, I really like Miss Delaware Teen USA 2016 and Miss Delaware Teen usa 2020. They should be Miss Teen USA. They were both naturally beautiful. Unfortunately they must have strong connections with Miss Universe Organization in order to place the top 5 and be the winner.
It was obvious after the interview, Delaware was the one to beat. The judges already made up their minds and stuck with her. It was a contest to see who was 2nd and 3rd.

Delaware nailed the final question and deserved to win but I must say.....her dress was ugly as hell. Such a pretty girl; her state could have found her a nicer gown.
Bingo! I'm so glad that I came across this comment. In her segment of evening gown, she wasn't even graceful yet scored the highest. Another form of bias judging.
Miss Delaware Teen USA deserved it, because she is naturally extremely beautiful like a doll, confident, smart, and she looks like a teenager.

Miss Teen Delaware USA deserved to win Miss Teen USA 1999! She represented the great little state of Delaware USA with class, beauty and style!!

Delaware doesn't have any money to dress their girls. Seriously. Small state, not as many sponsor opportunities. Compare that with Texas, for example.
