@@superstar64 no actually many people dont know the difference, ESPECIALLY older people. Although it makes sense and it feels like common sense, its really not
At least in Finland when teens go out and use their instagram and what not, they are using it via 4G so at least they know wifi isn't the only option. I don't even know who uses a public wifi, we don't even have that many places to use wifi.
That computer, for those of us who grew up on the Apple IIe, was an amazing leap forward in the design of modern technology. Just having a machine that wasn't grey made you cool.
But with pc's you could build them to your own spec, I miss taking three half broken computers and making a good one. I don't miss the conflicts though.
I'm currently 14, and turn 15 in under 2 months. I know of even older computers, for example, the Commodore 64 and Apple Lisa. The original Macintosh was a lesser machine than the 2ge...if I am remembering incorrectly...but Steve Jobs wanted to innovate the Macintosh. Lol, I've watched tons of the 8-bit guy.
I had a purple one, they were so hip at the time! My older sister had the orange laptop version in 2002 with the same design and everything. We never would have imagined they'd make ipads and iphones that are so slim compared to the computers back in the day. Also this makes me feel old because I was already a teen using this computer when the 15-year old blonde girl was born. Time flies.
I was 17, (almost 18) when these came out. We had them in the computer lab in high school and I remember thinking how cool they were. Seeing these kids reactions makes me feel so freaking old.😂
My guess is they mean that everything is inside the body with the monitor. There are all-in-one PCs made by Dell etc. but tower PCs separate from the monitor are still more common.
