I love the way she referred to my race as Africans and never blacks. ❤️
Read her bio on Wikipedia. Very interesting on how she was treated in Cabinet by the men in the Nationalist Party but, she definitely held her own. Some of her comebacks are quite entertaining to say the least. She did not hold back. Her exchanges with Vorster and PW Botha are especially sharp.
A True Icon
A wonderful woman.
Why do none of the racists come watch this? The videos on PW de Botha are full of comments, and this one, on a true hero, gets only 3 comments in five years.
Because white racists hate her for opposing apartheid and black racists hate her for being white.
To do right when your own race is against you, when you are shunned by both far-left and far-right. No one comes here because to be honest she makes people feel ashamed. The Communist party shunned her for participating in the apartheid parliament. What no one realises is without her parliamentary questions protected by law exposing apartheid we would have never aroused international support to overcome apartheid and we would have ended in race war in which the National party would have used nukes and all would have been lost.
May her memory be Blessed forever. Amen
I am a racist because I just don’t trust blacks to run a country but then I believe in running a country properly and with a restrained state: Apartheid SA had unlimited detention without trial and there were many which were killed in custody. Also there was a state of emergency which immense power abuses by the state. And every person should have the right to a fair trial and certain human rights regardless of his race. In conclusion I would have supported Mrs Suzman because Apartheid SA was in need of a credible opposition.
@@johnmajor9564 They say that the first stage to getting over alcoholism is realising and admitting you have a problem. Hopefully you'll realise that distrust on the basis of amount of melanin is a disease and you'll seek help.
Wow
