Four Traits of a Humble Individual 1. Accepting the truth from those who are younger than you 20:04 2. You accept the truth from your enemies 32:45 3. Accepting the excuses of the people 36:38 4. Acknowledge the good traits of others 38:10 Three Things that Stop you from Tasting the Sweetness of the Quran 1. Continuously persisting on sinning 47:29 2. Arrogance 47:52 3. Bring enslaved to your desires 48:00
A very brief summary / what I learnt as notes: To be humble is to: accept the truth from an enemy as you would a friend, from the younger as you would the older, and from the ignorant as you would the intellectual. To be humble is to also: retract a statement when you realise you were in error, not have any envy, because envy is caused by feeling more deserving, and not feel you have rights over others because of your position, but rather others have rights over you. If you struggle with humility, realise how physically and societally small you are in the world, and that you lack full self control, because everyone sins to some extent.
May Allah azza wa jall raise your ranks in this dunya and the akhirah ustadh. This lecture is so beneficial, sometimes when advise is given a person may reject it because they think they've seen it all - even though the adviser does it it from a place of care and wanting good for them. May Allah azza wa jall make us sincere and stradfsast ameen.
@@leave9424 jazakAllahu khairan. I was also wondering about this same question. Even the way he recited surah Ad Duha was different from what I know bt just slightly
Ibn taymiyyah was misguided. He likened God to His creation. To liken God to his creation is kufr. The correct belief of the Muslims is - God is the greatest in status and exists without a place. God is not a body. God is not like the creation.
Wallahi this man has the true face of a hypocrite as mentioned by our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). He had made many UA-cam videos mostly about the sex lives of other Muslims without providing any evidence.
I mean, we'll never truly know, but it's possible that a part of the lecture really touched him. It's not that uncommon to cry in the masjid, but I guess it's pretty jarring hearing it in a video.

It's another Qira'ah (recitation) there are 7 Qira'at of the Quran, and his recitation is that of Khalaf 'an Hamza if I'm not mistaken.
