- (*) The line "soy quién fue" - translated: "I'm who it was" - could refer to two things:
- The line in the LS version of "All Is Found" that goes "en donde está lo que se fue" - translated: where everything that got lost is - refering to Elsa admitting to being the one who got lost and has finally found herself.
- Or refer to "Soy quien buscaba" - translated: "I'm the one who I was looking for" -
Overall, that line was translated extremely weirdly expressed (as it borderline doesn't make much grammatical sense) and very much open to interpretation.

Creo que cuando se escucha la canción “Mil memorias” se puede armar mejor el rompecabezas de esta canción, bueno, ahora no lo recuerdo específicamente pero allí hay partes que se entrelazan con Muéstrate. En resumidas cuentas “soy quien fue” efectivamente se refiere a que es ella misma la respuesta que buscaba, no necesitaba más nada que aceptarse tal cuál era, dejar de contenerse, reprimirse, y encontrar en si misma la fuerza para ser lo que quería ser. La referencia incluso es más acertada y directa que en la versión en español europeo, asemejándose mucho más al original en inglés, aunque es muy abstracta pero creo que basta con escuchar la primera canción, la de Iduna para comprenderle mejor. Adoro a Carmen, ya no concibo a nadie más para Elsa, tanto en canciones como en diálogos, Carmen nació para Elsa o Elsa para Carmen, tiene el garbo de una reina y a la vez que excelentemente transmite la coraza emocional, la garra, la fuerza, un ser transparente, ella es perfecta y Elsa es perfecta por ella ❤

Lowkey instead of “Soy quien Fue” I wished this line was translated as “Me encontré” (I found myself). It would’ve made much more sense.
I was so confused by that lyric as well. I'm a native speaker, and this really made me question my spanish comprehension.

I was thinking the exact same thing. But I think they didn’t go with it because “me encontré” isn’t really formal or grammatically correct. You would only use that when you add a noun/pronoun after it like “me encontré con el”
"I found myself" (Me encontré) It would not make sense in Spanish since it would be talking about another type of situation, the best thing would be to adapt it to "Here I am" (Aquí estoy)...
There is a part in the lyrics of “Mil memorias” that says
“Donde se unen viento y mar
Una madre mil memorias trae
A tu hogar has de volver
Es donde está lo que se fue”
(Her past, her history, the origin of her powers), that’s why when the mother tells Elsa “A tu hogar has de volver”, Elsa says “Soy quien fue” (I’m my past, my history) In other words, Elsa is continuing her childhood song

Could "Soy quien fue!" be related to the fact she was looking for someone?
She was looking for this magical voice telling her "please, show yourself to me" and then she discovered she wasn't looking for anybody than herself! So she says "I'm who it was" in the sense "who it was that I was looking for, I am that person I was looking for".
At least I think it should be read in this way.
Yeah, looking back at it, I'm pretty sure that's what they were going for, but I guess it threw me off because the conjugation makes no grammatical sense - as in, you can't have the pronoun "yo" with the conjugation "fue", because that conjugation would go with "él / ella" (he / she) - She was essentially singing about herself in the 3rd person, which made it stupid difficult to understand, let alone translate lol

It sounds strange, but it is extremely poetic and you could easily read it in a poetry or a classic old song about philosophical things, you know ahhahah

If you watch the movie in Spanish (Latin) it will this video used the version without it. To watch it in Spanish in DVD go to audio settings and on Disney plus go to the top right and go to audio settings.

Lo comprendí. Lo tengo 😃 En la versión original en la canción de cuna, dice Iduna: “ven mi amor hacia tu hogar. Cuando todo se pierde todo es encontrado”, algo así. En español latino dice “a tu hogar has de volver. Es donde está lo que se fue” que implica entonces que, “lo que se fue” es una manera de decir “ lo que se perdió”.
Luego aquí, se logran enlazar con mucha fidelidad ambas canciones. Iduna dice “A tu hogar has de volver”. Elsa responde “Soy quien fue”. Lo que se fue es “lo que se perdió”. Entonces Elsa es quién se perdió, y “Soy quien fue”sería “me había perdido a mí misma, ahora lo sé “ ergo “me encontré (a mí misma). Se convierte en una referencia directa y atinada y precisa respecto a la original “Show Yourself” Incluso gana, a mí parecer, mucha más fuerza que ante la versión en español europeo, donde en lugar de ligársele a la canción de Iduna, se le liga a “Mucho Más Allá”
Y bueno, qué decir de Carmen. Ella es... todo❤ No es que suene mayor o vieja, como apuntan algunos aquí, sino que su voz es grave, como la de Idina Menzel, profunda. Y suena muy “Elsa”. Impone, tiene temple, garbo, impone. Suena “muy diva”, como toda una Reina de las Nieves, que es ella. Una de las voces más perfectas para el perfecto personaje, como a la medida

3:38: is doesn’t translate to “Acknowledge your strength” because “admite” means “admit” and acknowledge means in Spanish “Reconocer” so It would say “Reconoce tu fuerza” so the correct Translation for that part is “Admit your strength”

"Admit your strength", me sonaba raro en el momento de la traducción, por lo que decidí ir con "acknowledge", que si bien no es la traducción literal, transmite el mismo mensaje y tiene más sentido en el idioma receptor (inglés), ya que "admit" no es un verbo que funcione muy bien en ese contexto - por lo menos no con las connotaciones que se le dan al verbo en inglés - El español también es mi lengua nativa :)
