I think this should be taken as part of the scene. She started it and he just followed. And he's dancing with his boss's wife. Dialogue before the dance for a reason, not necessarily that she told the truth, not necessarily that he believed her.
Thurman learned her moves. They were not spontaneous and she had no natural timing. Travolta has perfect timing and natural ability. Just compare the swiiming moves, where Travolta gives that addedmove from his shoulder, where Thurman just sticks her arms out. Or the Batman sequence where she covers her whole face with her hand. This was the first Tarantula movie I watched. What stuck out the most to me wasnt the humor, nor the shocking scenes but rather the everyday talk the characters had. Despite talking about 'mundane' topics, we as the audience, still feel a sense of immersion and listen with some interest. It feels like we are there with them. All the characters are captivating. Was it a teenage wedding? Did the old folks wish you anything?
One of the most famous dance scenes in movie history.
His solo in Saturday Night Fever from 1977 is much more famous
The dance scene is off-the-charts fantastic. Thinking of John Travolta during a difficult time for him and his children. May the beautiful and talented Kelly Preston RIP. - Iris M. Rosenberg-Cooper of Manassas, VA.
Travolta raised from the dead by Tarantino beacause he knew he was still a great actor. He should have won the Oscar for this.
and then sinks right back down
Michael Madsen was first supposed to play as Vincent Vega in This movie.
because in Reservoir Dogs Madsen had the same name V Vega
@@constantinsabin3193 Tarantino actually had a Vega brothers movie in mind but he dropped the idea I would’ve liked that to happen given how different both characters are
Oh yes......Loved Travolta in this excellent movie!
This was such a great movie. The scene here and Travolta doing the Chain of fools dance are just the best ever.
I’ve been hearing this song more and more lately, when doing errands and whatnot, and I just smile because it’s this scene that comes to mind.
Chuck Berry
I just heard it in a hotel and saw at least 3 different people tap their partner and start twisting lol. It was cool
Awesome scene. Travolta could still dance, and acted the f'd up to a T, to boot.

Indiana Joe sucked a lot of wieners behind the scenes too from what I gather
Yeah,he`s better than that.
Travolta was a dancer before anything else...just like Swayze.
"Who's motor cycle is this?"
"It's a chopper baby"
"Who's chopper is this?"
"It's Zeds"
"Who's Zed?"
"Zeds dead baby, Zeds dead"
Brilliant iconic film.

Один из любимых моментов в этом фильме : танец просто огонь 🔥

Uma Thurman never looked hotter than she did in this scene!
I love uma beautyfull women to see
So you've never seen "My Super Ex-Girlfriend"
Kill Bill
HAVE YOU SEEN HER COVERED IN BLOOD?!
poison ivy B&R is even more
One of the greatest movies of all time
I do believe Marcellus, my husband, your boss told you to take me out and do whatever I wanted 😂😂😂
John Travolta never lost his ability to dance.
Even when he made his “Second Comeback” in Pulp Fiction! ;-)
Mia (Uma Thurman) and Vincent Vega (John Travolta) may have the most memorable dance in movie history.
You must be a teen Tim, who ignores everything before his personal history. You've seen nothing.
Feet!
Plenty of more notable scenes. Al Pacino doing the tango in Scent of a Woman comes to mind.
Nope, Travolta has better dance scenes and films. Truman barely can move...
Saturday night fever
Vincent Vega😂 they way she says it
Vuzavegga 😂

I love when John dances! Uma is good too! 😘❤️
your all programed happy vaccine
In my opinion, Vincent Vega danced better than Mia wallace.
Obviously! I think the same. He's better dancer, because John Travolta started being a dancer, after he was an actor.
Travolta is a professional
No shit Sherlock. Travolta won a twist national contest at the age of 8.
@@cypresspuz because he didn't face M Night Shyamalan.
if you count domeone looking like they are having a seizure while standing.. dancing 😞😦..??
"A husband being protective over his wife is one thing. A husband being protective over his wife after a man touches her feet is another thing" True dat
If we go by foot fetish logic, it could be considered touching her private parts.
Dancing always boosted John’s career.
Tarantino never hurt either
This is one best scenes of pulp fiction. John Travolta is the most greatest actor and dancer.
Удовольствие до мурашек!
Спасибо большое за любимый эпизод! 🤗😍🤩
Travolta still has the moves, most underated dancers in our history
he was originally casted for forrest gump but because he was working on pulp fiction he turned down the role
JOHN..
AWESOME. IN EVERY MOVIE...AND THE DANCING ALWAYS MARVELOUS
Another iconic Travolta scene! What a legend.
"Pulp Fiction" wasn't much of a movie. But this scene is truly fab.
gonna do this for the first dance at my wedding in june!
Yeah!!! You should do it and congratulation on your marriage!!!
+Charlie Burnside aRE YOU GOING TO HAVE A CONTEST? Or just do this with your love?
thank you luke robinson gettin married on 30th april ! mary the contest will be me vs her ahahahah and a nice milkshake after! ahahahah
Charlie Burnside Amazing idea. So cool bc you can have awesome anniversary's annually wit dance contests french fries burgers. cool. I love people who love one another right. Fun is the most important part of marriage, gotta keep it fun.
+Charlie Burnside how does it go?
Your wedding was on yesterday so who won the contest, you or your new wife?
Again, well done on your marriage
Only Tarantino could make a serious conversation about a foot massage appear interesting.
Foot fetish
Only Tarantino can make a film like pulp fiction
was thinking along this line.. while just watching it.
Really memorable. One of the best movie scenes ever.
один из лучших фильмов и лучших сцен, что не устаёшь смотреть ещё раз , одно удовольствие
They could talk about paint but im sure Tarantino could still find a way to make it interesting.
As Mia says its an occasion where we 'comfortably share silence'.
@The Rue Morgue XD
@The Rue Morgue I have no fucking idea why I wrote that. I think ill just leave it there. Smh
@The Rue Morgue omg I'm dying 😂😂😂😂 inglorious spiders
the dialogue is what makes a Taratino movie
I don't know what's worse... you mistyping Tarantino as Tarantula, or me pronouncing Tarantula out loud as if said similarly to Tarantino and not how it's actually pronounced. Taran-tula.
John travolta not breaking character throughout this scene is moive gold.... his greatest performance 👏
There is nothing better. tarantino's brilliant achievement at the height of his creative power. Travolta and Thurman are divine 😎👍❤💐
I remember watching this in the theater 🎭… as soon as Travolta took the dance 🕺 floor the people all started to 👏 clap! He didn’t disappoint 😊

I’ve got goosebumps while watching this beautiful people dance..I guess I miss my youth more than I thought 💭
They are old too. If it makes you feel better.
I don' t miss my youth. It's the dancing I miss ...
This is a one a few seminal scenes in the 90's that explains my passion in modern film. It never gets old, moreso if there is bourbon in my milkshake.
Your passion on modern film? You don't have a clue...
Che spettacolo ❤
That was awesome!
JT’s surprised face! Priceless. 🤩😎🤣😂
The face Vince makes when Mia says "right here" is priceless
He’s like “no no no I ain’t doing this crap no way nuh uh I’m out”
I've never liked dance scenes, but this is undeniably one of the best moments in cinema
Танец просто ОГОНЬ!!!
Траволта СУПЕР!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Never tire of watching these dance moves.
This just one of them legendary scenes...Amazing. I really miss them days
Me encanta esta escena, los dos están fantásticos!!!
I'm absolutly sure, that this movie is one of the best movie i've ever seen. Masterpiece of movie arts.
Funny how humans vary so widely in what they perceive as "great". I thought this movie was absolute trash. It was so bad I had to turn it off after 30 mins, I couldn't justify any more time of my life to watch it. Out of hundreds (thousands?) of movies I've watched, I've only done that 2 or 3 times.
I think you are right.
@@WhatEver-xn5sn Agree 100%. One of the most fucked movies ever made, and that's saying a lot. I walked out of the theater about 30 minutes in back in '94 and got my money back. Tarantino is a piece of shit as is Tim Burton. At least Burton made a few decent films early in his career before going bad. Tarantino not even that. I DO have to ask though if you've watched hundreds of films, how you couldn't feel that there weren't a lot you found to be absolute garbage. At least half (and that's being extremely kind by the way, are horrible, if made in the past 35 years by the major U.S. studios. Almost any good film is one in limited release or foreign.
@@WhatEver-xn5sn I invite you watch it again, with no bias, and report back.
Agree 100 % I knew the first time I saw it ,watched it 30 times n enjoy each time ,,
i have to admit this movie keeps making me wanna watch it again and again like rocky horror haha love it
