Good advice. Two story in brasil isnt so simple. Pool isnt simple 😂 but good. You already havr leagl land so thats good. .. alsonhave to make sure place is built in legal registerd . land. My family paid $15 ... grand for a 2 bed house ans huge land in piaui
My girlfriend lives in Recife, because of your videos I’ve wanted to move there. I’ve spent a considerable amount of time in Brazil, but rn I’m kind of rethinking if I should do this or stay in Canada. I can’t afford a home in Canada but I could in Brazil.
Hey Josh. Buying a house in Brazil is absolutely not necessary. Come down and rent for a few years and figure things out. Rents are super cheap (USD400-600/mo) and you’re not tied down to a house nor to one location.
Thanks for this video. I am retired US American and married to a Brazilian man. Been here in Sao Paulo since January 2023 and spent 4 months in Floripa in 2022. We are still trying to decide exactly where to rent or buy. I am on a small fixed income and my husband also. I want to be in a beach community but we are staying with my InLaws on their property in Sao Paulo city which is a blessing.
Donnie - The list of amazing beach communities along the Brazilian coastline is endless. We chose not to be in Floripa because it reminded us too much of our previous life in the US. We loved discovering the many many smaller towns during our travels in our Kombi van. Hope you find what you're looking for. Thanks for being a subscriber !!
The problem for europeans is, you must leave Brazil ( without permancia ) after 3 months.............and after 6 months you are allowed to come back for additional 3 months........
That’s a tough one Mikie. It’s much easier when both are somewhat on the same page. Perhaps start by setting an example and letting her see how much happier you become with fewer things, simpler things, staying away from impulse buying and gathering stuff vs memories with her. It can be done 👍🏾

Yes that’s true. I am blessed to be married to Elci who is Brazilian so it has made it a lot easier for me to live here.
