Think before taking action drawn your plan to solve the problem, communicate with others for tips and advice, don't ask for user input before finishing the whole project, google is your friend, optimize the code don't create crazy variables or useless ones there always a better way, don't repeat cycles create more functions use commentaries. sry for English hope it helps you out this.

The gist of what I got was: stack overflow, github, people stereotyping IT, people stereotyping engineer, and a lot of me time. But also, I’m a huge introvert that prefers staying cooped up in a room for days so that lifestyle sounds pretty good.

its just crazy how many computer engineering jobs are out there !! however its sad to see the poor quality of computer education in recent days in many tier 1 and tier 2 colleges. all people care about is getting placement , when it comes to creativity and coding , i have seen first hand that people hardly know anything
Creativity in programming comes from the developer. If they are passionate and have time to write their own code on projects they actually want to do then they will implement their own unique touch on anything they write (although it can be bad sometimes)

It’s been 15 years I left India, was in software, looks like there are many things which are still part of the culture e.g, mom asking to coach a kid, 2 hour to finish job, lead developer, was one who knew everything. Ended up doing everything and my mental system suddenly broke and decided to leave everything I was doing and do something else. I am still into tech, but so everything on my own terms as a freelancer. That culture shown in the video is toxic, I do have a offshore team in India now but they are bunch of responsible go getters and I strictly have my own culture that does not encourage any of the above.
