One of the best tutorials for this pedal, I had my infinite jets out and guitar hooked up playing along. I know more of how this pedal works after listening and playing along with your tutorial Thanks, this was so helpful
I use this with bass guitar. There is no bass roll off without drive. Using drive rolls off significant amounts of low end, its obviously voiced for guitar. However i find this bass roll off very useful and the drive, and if more low end is needed, i can add it back with other pedals just fine. I use Glitch B and Swell mostly, as a subtle effect.
Can it do something else than hyper fast tremolo? I like the idea behind this thing, but every demo just winds up sounding like a tremolo. You call it a "short range sampler", so that's a basic limitation?
Was the super ego plus not out yet? I think it is better than the infinite jets and has effects you can apply to the looped bit as well as a loop for external effects. It also has external control ability with exp, CV, or gate signals.
Both great pedals I'd say. There are some advantages to both. The main thing that the infinite pedal has over it is the LFO function and the waveform selector. the Superego Plus has that awesome glissando feature though that lets you morph between notes. Personally I'd love to have the og superego paired with this and I think itd be the perfect combo
Great channel ! Exactly what I was looking for. Could you please, make a comment how Infinite Jets compare to SuperEgo Electro - Harmonix ? I'm not soliciting. I'm just asking, since I've been looking for a pedal that would sustain my tones for indefinite period of time and I'd be able to shape them, route them to loopers, twist them, etc...Thank you.
Ι woukd still buy it if it only had the glitch modes. I have no use for the others and prefer recreating them using single pedals but the glitch ones are top notch [without having to put the pedal in an fx loop like i do with the stutter of the ottobit junior so that i can maintain my dry sound]
That's what EQ's, boosts and compressors are for. I own the Dream Sequence and the Infinite Jets and the tone cut is overblown. I run them in the fx loop of my EHX Chillswitch with a compressor.
Im a bassist who owns this pedal. It only cuts low end if the 'drive' control is set above 0%. However, a low cut, crunchy drive sound can be a good option to have. Eg; Setting the expression pedal to the drive control gives aggressive swells where the lows are present for the initial attack, then die as the swell increases. Love the content Zach, you deserve a few more zeros in the view counts :)
Hmm hard to say. Perhaps it was developed with guitar in mind and that might make sense but ive seen it on all manor of instruments without affecting the sonic footprint too much. Everything has some sort of footprint though even if its just a slight "color" to the tone.

Finally an Hologram Infinite Jets Bass video!! :-) Grazie Zachary!!
Watched this and bought one on Reverb before the halfway mark. Great vid!
Zach, we all want you back!
great demo, finally understand it now! much more intuitive than i thought. thank you!
This seems to be a more advanced and more HI-Q version of the freeze pedal. Awesome!
hey i did not no that about glitch B. thanks can't wait to try it!
anyone got a comparison to the microcosm?
missing the glide effect in sweel mode....
Damnit i just bought a Hologram Microcosm now I want this too
How does it sound on that double bass? Have you tried it? Double bass player myself...

IJ or the Dream Sequence?
Thank you. Big decision... but Hologram dropped the price of IJ to $305 w/ free delivery. 👍🏻

To Carl's point.... Went through 3 videos before I found this one. Great demo.
I heard this pedal sucks a little of the low end, did you feel that at all?

Excellent demo. It seems the drive function is the weakest link in this otherwise great pedal. It just sounds harsh, thin and very one-note.
never clicked faster

Just use the dry knob to bring the bass back in
Someone take my money and give me this!
