Not sure what other people are doing, but not everyone is aware of the situation. More people are to busy trying to put food on the table for today. Credit card debt is up. The local authorities make it hard for us to have our second amendment rights, but unfortunately for us, I'm sure that Joe's and Obama's army he had wanted while in office, but he wasn't able to organize it. He has more money now and didn't get a position in the United Nations. Obama really wanted to head the military section of the United Nations. We are in a mess with our hards tied behind our back with very little Constitutional protection thanks to the Republicans allowing the President Bush one and two, to pass unConditional laws. Disappointed in Trump for not getting our Constitutional rights back, and now he is suffering the karma of an unjust and corrupted judicial system. Might as well be under the CCP control, and I keep wondering.

That scene at around 4 min in, showing NYC & the "whatever they're called" people reminds me EXACTLY of when I'd go with a chartered group over from Laredo Tx across the International Bridge into Nuevo Laredo in the early 2000s. At night, the beggars, their children, etc would line the pavement and streets, clutching to your clothes, etc, and either trying to sell you some cheap goods they had imported from China (goods were no longer being made by the actual people of Nuevo Laredo, MX, but imported as a part of an agreement from NAFTA, which only benefitted the Chinese, it was quite obvious. The children would chase you, guilting you to buy Chicklets gum, they'd even have newborn babies lying out on the pavement in an attempt to gain your sympathy. It was no longer SAFE to go over there, & it was no longer a place where you enjoyed visiting, in any way. The change from just a few years prior was visible and palpable. All this to say "we haven't seen anything, yet."
