But they know that, so they won't let you do that anymore. It seems that the advice has saturated the market and caused the whole system to change to circumvent the 'cheat'.
Also, the system is supposed to prevent charismatic idiots from duping hiring managers into hiring them and flooding their company with smiling yes men and sociopaths.

Haha. Our first home sold in 1 day back in 2017. We had 3 offers, all cash from investors. Last one was over 10k of ask. Buying our home, the only reason we got it was A. The owners didn’t leave during our two viewings or inspection and loved my kids B. Both buying and selling agent were best friends and worked for the same firm. We still had to offer 10k over and throw down full interest money. We got lucky, this is just as things went to hell for everyone else looking to buy.
