I need a new job
Jb hunt was my 2nd company after 3 months trucking. The pay was consistent and I learned alot specifically on dot regulations. They force u to be better at compliance because any mistake u make your held accountable regardless of fault.
They pull hair and urine. Inward facing cameras just went live 4/1/23.
My experience wasn't the best but I learned and was able to get my own truck after 2yrs with their pay scale.
Good luck!!!!
They do have inward facing cameras. Did you do DCS or Intermodal
I was with J.B. Hunt for eight years; they were my second company, as well. (CRST, was first) I approve @JWonder1218’s message!
I drove 30yrs for ABF Freight, if you like local and want to get in your bed every night ABF is the one, union shop, life long pension 401k also if you choose, full medical, eye & dental, did my 30 felt good bought 3 trks afterwards ran for 10yrs just sold this beauty you see here, I'm out, relaxation time, hang in there sweetheart love your content 😀
Thank you and I like my company right now but I’m going to be moving and ik I want to switch to local after I move did you have to park the 2 trailers?
@@Cherishbarber94 When I pulled a set of doubles I did but I was a city driver, I mostly went out with a half set everyday to make deliveries & pickups, the line haulers pulled doubles, they got it sweet when they got to the terminal the yard jockey unhooked and hooked up his or her load for their turnaround, I retired from ABF in 2010 that yr I grossed $87k local the linehaulers did $125k easy now I averaged about 2-3 hrs overtime everyday that was damn good money in 2010
@@Cherishbarber94 Thanks for the reply 💝🎄☃️🎅
I would root for odfl
It's alright for young person but middle age and older drivers to much work not enough pay
I have really enjoyed and miss working for swift, I started early 2022 and got a brand new 2022 Volvo vnl I was also a company driver, the pay was great and they have alot of terminals too , I know alot of people make fun of the drivers and the company as a whole, but I personally saw nothing but good drivers, awesome dispatch and I was getting paid pretty good as a company driver, around $1200-1400 a week take home and they were pretty good at letting me choose where I wanted to go, mostly i10 amd and I always enjoy going to Utah, Idaho, Montana, new Mexico Arizona, Oklahoma, I only quit cause I had found a local job in south Texas to spend more time with my family
I don't know why she didn't say swift
Thanks for the info, on SWIFT...🙂
Girl thank you I been struggling to find a company
You’re welcome we all been there
Thanks for everything I just got my cdl permit
Same I’m struggling
Me too I got my cdl B with tanker but I can't find work now I'm looking to get my class A
@@racheledmond84yahoocom don’t bother with a class B, get a class A you can still do B work, just make sure you don’t get the automatic restriction and take your road test ina. Manual
Marten is a great company because they have great detentions $15.00 first hour , $ 25.00 after that. ..they pay breakdown pay $25.00 an hour, they pay shutdown pay $25.00 hour meaning they shut you down due to bad weather. There is a minimum pay of $ 1,450 a week.. I myself makes $ 2,100 to 2,300 per week before taxes.. except when I go home .. I make 1,600 to 1,800 when I go home and you can go home every week..
Urine or Hair??
@@vitamin3x Urine
Hey man im in cdl school does Marten hire drivers with no experience?
@@nodnarbzavala3797 Nahh .. you have to have 6 months of straight O.T.R experience with one company..which isn’t bad cause it use to be 3 years experience..
OTR POSITION, and can you stay out for 6 to 8 weeks ⁉️....... Terminal in Louisiana.
id say these are all great options, another one for people who dont have their cdl yet is Maverick Transportation, used to drive for them and they are awesome, brand new trucks, good pay, paid training, all the works
Did they do hair test?
They don’t hire new drivers
@@Ianua_Veritatishow so and they sponsor training.
Do your research for self people all companies might not fit you some have force dispatch. Find what fits you... Stay safe
They all lie and promise you more than they deliver
That’s a fact
Are you a driver?
@@hassanwali2020yes, she is, she's behind the wheel. And looking fine af, too 😍
@@TheShopGrandOpening😂😂😂😂
Been with Marten for a long time but the new camera system will literally micro manage the hell out of every decision you'll make on the road. Then Marten will take weekly driving bonuses as a result of any infraction that may incur. No levels of disciplinary action.First mistake, you'll be penalized. A miserable work atmosphere, poor communication between drivers and management. They will impose new systems without training or notification.
Arnold Transportation Services out of Grand Prairie. Once you get acclimated to the road. They don't force you to drive in snow, actually listen to drivers, and willing to work with you.
Thank you for the Info. 💪🏽💯
👍 thnx for the heads up
Nussbaum was the best company I’ve ever worked for
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Great opinion. Good information for up and coming driver's.
I drove for marten good pay and i was home everyweekend.
💯💯💯💯💯💯🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 keep it coming I love info thanks
when you have free time you should do live stream and talk about basically the basics about how get our license and other stuff
Well if know someone independent talk them and run with 150 000 miles get certified through them rather than a school
Every mega carrier is not a good company. They will use and abuse you. Get your experience with them and buy you a truck. The goal is to become an owner op.
You definitely don’t want to become an OO now.
That's the goal to become owner op. Anytime is a good time to be an o/op just know the business
The goal is to become an Independent..There's a difference. Your own Authority, Equipment, DOT#, Insurance and the checks go to your bank account. Then you're Rollin with the big boys....and girls.
Owner Op is BS.
Owner op has always been a scam.
Thank you!
Yall make me want to ho get my CDL
Ok seeing that the comments are saying every company sucks😅…. who can we agree on that’s the best for newbies just to start?? 👀
Agree lol …. I’m here for the comments and recommendations pls
everyones situation is different I have really liked crete for the most pary except for there short haul runs I get every son often
whiners.
Any young Drivers, Get your C.D.L and get with a Union LTL company..Top choice U.P.S ..Yes you will start off on Docks low weekly hrs but you can find a local C.D.L company like waste management that will work around your U.P.S schedule..after 5-10 years vested TRUST ME you will be so Thankful you didn't stay O.T.R ...$120 -$160k per year once your a full time LTL driver..Benefits are the best your gonna get in any industry especially for your Family....you are much harder to be fired as a Union worker they have to pay you Driver pay no matter where they put you....
Great advice
Thanks 🙏
Ur so pretty and a truck driver
Every man’s dream 👍😘
why is that ?? she doesnt use bathrooms like us , simping culture smfh
First job at ffe and I get paid well. Local and hourly. Best option for me with a young child

Is ffe only class a
@@blaquespan5316 they have class b too
Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊
God bless you! You’re very kind to share this information. Thank you!
JB hunt requires 3 months as the recruiter told me and 12 months experience for regional. tyson wants 9m to a year. Martin requires 6 months so new drivers arent accepted by more than half of what you said.
That’s bc this video is over a year old they were accepting students fresh out of cdl school at the time. Plus 6 months or less is a new driver.
Do they do hairfolicos ??
Thanks...
Covenant Transport. They team you up. 6 months of experience will get you 68 too 72 cpm and 7000+ miles a week with teams. I had left and been struggling to find a better company. Nowadays other companies are offering 55cpm for more experience🤦🏽🤦🏽
Why you leave? They offer training?
@@freemygrandma8752 I did some dumb sht
Great information
Hi Cherish 😊.. what company do you work for?
Thank you for your content 👍
Jus got my cdl I never new it was gonna be dis hard but thank you
Yea it’s a lot
Hard in which way, Sis
Cool thanks
You’re welcome
Wal-Mart #1 in my book
3 years experience though
crete is a good starting company just have to deal with short runs occasionally look into them
You have to make sure that these companies hire out of where you live. Nussbaum doesn't hire out of Miami Florida.
Do you which ones do? I have yet to find one
Lookout queen
Yeah I worked with Tyson for a year half 2020-2021 They outsourced all of their loads to Usa Truck, etc. Plus need to be Vaccinated.
You don’t need to vaccinated nomore that’s was during covid
Hi!!! I'm doing my driving test next month to get my cdl class a i can't wait, but i don't know where to go from there, i was thinking on getting the rest of endorsements and find a job with tank trucking what you recommend
Agree
I passed my test and got my license two weeks ago and I’m looking for a job now
Same here still can't find something because they need experience 😥
@@thepleiades6992 come to covenant and be a team driver
I work for Nussbaum! Great company! I’ve been with them for two years now.
What have you heard about Trans am ?
JB Hunt is cool as long as you are not on the Amazon lane. If you're scared of the in cab camera, this may not be for you. Just a heads up.
I love your videos.lot of love from india
Thank you
What y’all think about TMC ? Cause I pretty much secured Schneider (dedicated dollar general account ) . But I was looking into TMC (flat bed) too cause I heard Schneider has low pay and they micro manage .
I've been to enough Tyson facilities to know that they don't pay good cause their drivers always asking me to get them on with the company I drive for 😂
Lol nooooo
If its Force Dispatch I Dont Want it 😂😂😂
I have my CDLA( Syracuse N.Y)and no experience yet (it has been so frustrating 🥺) ALL these companies keep telling me NO! But how am I supposed to get experience if no companies will hire me so I can get experience? It's been so long now I need a refresher
Good morning May God bless you and your family in Jesus name amen and amen healing over you and your family today from the Bahamas
Thank you so much I pray that you and your family do the same
#8 Covenant transportation
Best company I worked for...couldnt find a better trucking job after that
I drove for Nussbaum Transportation. They do got good pay but fuck do they micro manage up the ass. They know what’s going in that truck from 7am-5pm. 🤦♂️🙄.
When I was a company driver the company is dedicated contracts with guaranteed set pay no matter if you work 5 days or 1day.
That sounds like a good deal
I have so much bone loss thank you girl now I know where to go put some meat on the bones
Marten was okay, crappy truck, and as soon as my appendix ruptured and I needed some time off they treated me like garbage.
What are good companies to look into with only a Permit that will train me with good pay and if the ones you said in this video are any please let me know
Actually in my area, highway transport requires 12 months recent tractor trailer experience.
Yea since the shortage of freight everyone pretty much changed their experience requirements
Is there more trucker drivers the the job available or there is alot more jobs and less truck drivers as a country cuz i always see comments that they cant find work
How long have you been driving?
Beautifulbb
Thank you
No c.d.l.2k a week expediting in sprinters no d.o.t. bs log books no real down time!
Can you help me get on with yr co.?
Where??
Im a flat bedder for halvor i make 1400 to 1500 a week average sometimes more sometimes less and I haven’t been with the company for more than a year
Will they accept you if you've been training through a trucking school prior to applying to them?
Ladies get with these energy companies and you can thank me later, Plains all American, Energy Transfer,Haliburton, Marathon, Sunoco
The way new yorkers say Do🤗
Marten pay sucks, I only stayed for a month! I did hazmat chemical before marten transport and then I tried doing a regional job that would get me off weekends. Long story short I took a huge pay cut like that was a big deal for me, then they don't even give you the full weekend off like the recruiter said they just give you a 34 hour reset smh. Now I haul fuel, make over 100k a year off weekends with a week pto every year.
What company you at now?
@@kingcrack13 I haul fuel (gasoline and diesel) in Florida around the Tampa Bay area
@@kingcrack13 there's a handful of companies that pay over 100k in my area but Florida pay sucks at everything. In other states you can make much more than 100k
@@marquiswilliams6251 oh okay. I been looking into adding on some endorsements. The tanker endorsement one of the ones I been looking into... Appreciate the info.. I'm in Detroit, waiting to start school to get My CDL.
@@kingcrack13 good deal, if there's nothing holding you back then just go ahead and jump into it now and thank me later. I walked out on the job at Walmart and jumped right into it. One of the best decisions I've made in life, I only regretted not making that move sooner
Roadtek beat them all. Team driving starting at .55 cpm
Love the stretch fit were do I go I want black?
Shein
I need to come team with you
JB HUNT is where I'm at. .65 a mile and drop pay is decent. All drop and hook. In cab cameras are coming with new trucks.
Drug test ?
@@HonestTruth0 Absolutely. Hair samples as well as urine.
Only new trucks? What if you’ve been with the company?
@BrilliantBlack Once you mile out, they'll issue another truck and that one will 9 times out of 10 have the new cameras. Right now it depends on the contract you work.
Do JB hunt have manual trucks?
DRIVING CUTIES.
You know any company that pays good and have local routes
You should put Paul transportation
I'm looking for a paid CDL course near detroit,Mi any suggestions?
I live in Illinois, which has recreational marijuana so it's legal here would that be a problem with going to school if it's in my system?
So what if I only got 2 1/2 months of experience it’s seems no one is hiring someone help I’m in Florida
i have experience, just tell me what i need to so to come there...
Jb hunt is really good but they just got in cab cameras but still really good company
Thats creepy
Highway transport is not really good pay company even for newbies.
Good trucks in TN but PA is a different game.
Good call on Tyson. I’ve been with them 17 years. They’ll have to fire me or drag my corpse out of my truck to get me to leave.
funny
After You gain all that Experience. The Best ones to Drive For is 1.UPS 2. Yellow Freight 3. ESTES 4. SAIA 5. OLD DOMINION 6. R & L 7. ABF. 8. Averritt Trucking That’s the LTL Carrier’s. For Flatbed 1. Cypress Truck Lines 2. Gypsum Truck Lines 3. South Shore out of Ohio 4. JLE Industries 5.Halvor. But I got a Great list on which Area You live in where the Best Trucking Companies From Flatbed to LTL to Tanker to Car Hauling. Scheinder, JB Hunt , Werner, Western Express, US Express, Swift, Covenant, CRST, and CR England doesn’t even Make my List.
Most of the companies you’re naming you need a year experience when the list says a new driver. So idk how you came up with that.
@@Cherishbarber94 I been out here for over the Road 36 years. I seen them Come and Go but yep Marten and Tyson Foods is On My List for the Best Driving Jobs to Have plus you Forgot about ADM ( Archer Daniels Midland) & Nestle. Even Driving For Walmart are Great driving Jobs. I Drive For Jack Cooper Auto Transport. On the Union side I get $1.42 loaded A Mile Running east of the Mississippi and $1.21 Backhaul Rate. And The West Coast Running Mile Board .82 Cents a Mile Loaded 68.10 for loading. And on my Third Trip I get 1.21 a mile. But I didn’t mean to Rain in on your Parade. But you got it right.
