I remember when the phrase 'near death experience' used to mean that you actually died for a brief time, then were brought back to life. Now everyone uses it instead of the previous term for these clips - close call. I guess 'close call' got too boring.
A wild one local to me, person had a medical event and fell onto the su way tracks. Bystander realized they were about to be struck by a train and jumped unto the track to pin them to the narrow spot between rails under the train. His backpack and shirt were shredded but no major injuries and person who fell also had no manor injuries. Fuckin BALLS on that hero to face a train to save a life
But! Someone did die at the Trump rally. We should not forget that a family lost their one of their own. RIP Corey Comperatore.

That cop clip is bs. Several scientists argue it's not true and PD had to recant their statement. If it's so dangerous how could drug dealers handle it and transport them.
There's a pretty recent video that showed a guy vacationing, I think in Switzerland, and he and his wife decided to go hang-gliding. She had an uneventful flight, but as soon as the guy took off with his instructor, his harness broke. He had to hold on to the hang-glider with nothing but his own hands, a couple of hundred feet up in the air, while the instructor is trying to hold on to him at the same time as steering the glider back to safety. I do not recommend watching the video if you're scared of heights.

One of the most disturbing videos I've ever seen was Vincent Dnofrio being twisted up by the subway, and they couldn't get him out without killing him. He knew what was going to happen when they moved the train, and had to say goodbye to all of his family. I know it was a TV show, but this really happened. Very disturbing
