This is their debut after being an official group but they even had a pre-debut song -Hellevator-that has an MV from when they were in their survival show. I recommend checking out Hellevator because they were already so good pre-debut.
I totally understand you, changbin literally ended careers with just one verse in a debut, this guy is insane.... Stray kids from the beginning was always aggressive LOL if you want to check out more of this I highly recommend Double Knot, one of the most choruses strengths of them (in my opinion) thank you always for your reaction, I love you going crazy because of the boys flow hahahaha
@@mlauriec oh yeah I had a list once with the Morse code alphabet and looked at it while listening to the code and it spells out stray kids wich is fun little detail actually
I came across some toxic MOAs that said stray kids rapline is weak and are scared of freestyling. I just laughed!! I don't think they've watched this. Skz rapline is one of the best in the K-pop industry Period
There's no spoilers in the trailers. Don't listen to the unveils -- they're song teasers. But the trailers are just overall album concept introductions; they don't spoil the songs in the trailers. So you're safe. And they're absolute masterpieces, so you shouldn't miss them. Even if you decide to wait until after release day, you should still go in and watch the trailer and whatever unveils there are because they're that good.
"I am NOT" was the name of the debut mini-album that this came from. It was followed by "I Am WHO" (with the single _My Pace),_ and "I Am YOU" (with the single... _I Am You,_ actually). Note also that up till a handful of months prior to this, Lee Know had _never rapped._ He tried it out for the first time in their survival show, at JYP's suggestion, and here he is opening their debut single.
Yes, I've watched District 9 movie. And yes, I think the movie is actually a direct inspiration for the song, album and music video. If you watch the movie trailer of District 9, there are descriptions that say, 'They are NOT welcome, they are NOT accepted, they are NOT human' and the album is actually called 'I AM NOT'. There is also a scene where the alien said, 'we just wanna go home' that explains a whole lot Stray Kids' concept and there's a piece of the ship fallen in the movie, coincidently, we can see there's a drone fell in the MV.
the way you almost broke the rewind button on Changbin's part, is such a mood 😂 he is my ultimate bias, and I loved his attitude, rap style from the beginning up until now. love your reactions!!
loved your reaction thank you!! *** If you liked this song you should check out Hellevator m/v which is their pre debut song and if you love hard beats check out Victory song m/v
I hope you can also do after checking the Mv, atleast see how they sing it on a Live performance. Imagine your fave part being sang Live. It will make you fall for them more, I promise 🔥 🔥
District 9 is their district - they were originally 9 members, so Stray Kids District = District 9. So, they were saying, this is our turf, we're here now.
Zero relation to the movie District 9. They escaped, and now they're free and on the run, so they found a rundown little space to call their own and declared it to be their District 9 -- their own private, safe, independent district for the nine of them to be free, to be different, to be themselves. "District" because it's, y'know, their districts; "9" because there were nine of them at the time, and the focus on all nine of them being together was a theme for their first moment together on the survival show, where the whole point was to stick together. "I Am NOT" at the end is the album name. Regarding rock, a few others that include elements from various rock subgenres: My Side, Rock (kinda), Slump, Chronosaurus, Grrr, Yayaya, and even Levanter. And _definitely_ Awaken, which someone recommended elsewhere in this thread.
you repeating changbins rap over and over again is a thing i relate to very much
Changbins a beeeeeast

you’re probably the ONLY one who had the same reaction as me to changbins verse. DISGUSTINGLY GOOD

You need to listen Red Lights by Hyunjin and Bangchan
