In 2018 myself and my entire 7th-grade class (as well as 8th-grade) went to spend three days and two nights on that ship. I had no idea that it was haunted until the first night when my bed wouldn't stop shaking. We slept in a small room in the top of the ship that had bunk-beds but instead of being set on the floor, they were hung from the roof by chains. I wouldn't even be on or near my bed when it would randomly start shaking. I have been on a lot of ships before and this was no swaying of the boat causing the bed to shake. Because for one, it was being lifted slightly and dropped-- not swaying back and forth-- and it was only my bed doing this. No one believed me so I had to sleep on that bed and it shook most of the night off and on. The next morning, someone screamed and woke us all up. After turning the light on, one of my classmates had curled into a ball, crying. We asked what had happened and she said that she woke up and saw a man standing beside her bed. He opened his mouth and screamed at her. So, the scream we all heard was not her own, but whatever the man was. We all slept apart from the guys in our class (they were in a bunker across the ship) so there was no way it could have been one of them. The second night, my bed was still shaking off and on though nothing else we can't explain happened. However, a few of my friends and I went to explore some of the lower decks and we found a room full of chairs that looked like they had been thrown around and I got a super bad feeling about that room. It felt almost like a primal fear; it's kinda hard to explain unless you've felt it before. I have never been one to get afraid easily but I would NOT go down into that room. And then, my friends and I went into the chapel area and my camera stopped working the moment we stepped inside. And then, it turned back on as soon as we left. I just found those last two things odd.
Wow we’re you in the sick area? Where the sick beds were? I just finished touring and took a picture in another room with beds and I captured 2 figures on camera.
In those places crewmen underwent a lot of stress, the tensions during combat, chances to get either killed or wounded during the operations. That can be the energy that remained after years of service.
@@shay8949 I think so. it was above where they kept all of the planes on the main deck and you kind of had to go up these metal stairs on the outside of the boat that came up from a little food court area. I don’t know if it’s still used like that or not or if it was just set up that way because of the field trip.
Nice catch! After watching the part where you did the brightness/contrast changes, I went back to look at the first part again, and I could see the legs in the darkness. Very cool!
This is done by someone who doesn't understand photography. Take a bad camera, on an unstable surface instead of a tripod (and no, "bracing" doesn't erase han movement or vibration), jack with photo settings to increase artifacts and you get this sloppy experiment. The "black mass" photo is where the cam struggled with low light, the same blob is apparent on the second photo when the camera was moved closer to the laser light grid. There are "blurred" laser points in both photos the farther you get from the source, particularly farther down and along the ceiling. Any photographer of the night sky can tell you even a slight shift of perspective or focus can completely alter what you get, even with the same settings, exposure and aperture. This is why anyone taking prolonged exposure not only will use a tripod bit also a delayed timer disconnected from the camera (either via hand switch or wireless) so that even clicking the button on the camera doesn't interfere. There are MULTIPLE differences in the photo that show this.
Amazon thank you and it doesn't take Albert Einstein to figure this out I remember when I bought my first digital camera it was a Sony but again if I make a pic so I might get this one's back when I was in Middle School and I'm like 30 years old now and I used to like filming the little orbs that will show up in pictures which is really dust particles out of focus
Great video. This laser grid technique was being worked by my technical team member and several investigators many years ago using extracted equipment from gaming consoles. I am glad to see that it actually would have worked! Love it!
Strange story, my brother works at Petco, and one if his coworkers passed away, and a few months later the computer printed a receipt at like 2am for a purchase of dog food and then about 30 mins later for a return of the same dog food, it was the same brand the coworker used and he employee number on the receipt. I guess his boss keeps it in his office as a reminder of her and the area that the Petco is in, is one of the most eerie and possibly cursed parts of town. And we are in the top 15 most haunted city's in the U.S.
A lot happened on that ship, a lot of traumatic events. Perhaps, for consideration, the spirits who remain do not appreciate or approve of the ghost tours. However, from reading the comments I gather that they don't want strangers aboard "THEIR" ship.

In that case, it could be a former captain of the ship or high ranking officer if the spirit is there to protect the current living crew. If they edited and higlighted the image more closely it may be possible to find a resemblance of the original serving officer.

Apparently these investigators are ghost hunting on an actual ghost ship and don't even know it😂 because didn't the Yorktown actually sink during the battle of Midway?🤔

The creator is above the gods so even gods and demons will have to follow them ( gods are there to help humans follow the path of goodness demons are to let us know of fear of our actions we take )

Just FYI the Yorktown doesn't float. It's actually sunk in the mud there. Thanks for sharing your experiences. 😊

This is the 1st "lazer grid" explanation that has actually made any sense!!

Awesome! I saw figure walk right up to it...amazing
Caught an EVP on the other ship the USS LAFFEY (DD-724) that is beside the USS YORKTOWN. Caught the EVP in one of the gun batteries.

Good scientific proof, excellent investigating.

The ghosts are on the YorkTown. Spent the night on that ship back in the early 1980s. One paid a visit back then during the night.

But the video camera didnt catch it?
The black figure looks exactly as te video of the man walking towards the camera....there is nothing to see here.

I captured a picture of two ghosts in the room with the beds chained up
Why only at night?
Looks like a person. Looks exactly the same as the sample video that they took and it looks just like a regular person, not a ghost
maybe bugs, flies, spiders, insects, rats, weather from the outside..
Exactly
