As a 3 years solid LoL player, I gotta say that Smite has much much MUCH more potential. Smite takes the best things from MMORPGs (3rd person, awesome map design, WASD movement etc.) and from MOBAs (laning, unlockable characters, tournaments etc.) and puts them together, creating an awesome game and almost entirely new genre.
I really hope the make Joust/Conquest look as a-w-e-s-o-m-e as Assault :] Joust looks almost too realistic atm :D
I just wanna say that, as a LoL player, I'm ashamed to read what other LoL players say about SMITE. Just from watch SMITE videos, I can tell this game is gonna fun just by how you control the God. I'm downloading the game as I am typing and I'm looking forward to this.

I think it not even because of people will get mad, it because of Jesus is too powerful in his Mythology. Zeus and Odin at least can be take down in their own story. If I'm not wrong, Jesus is like the one and only god control everything, right?

I'm a LoL player and frankly i really like the concept based on smite that everything is now a skillshot. This is something new brought top the table, unfortunately unable to play due to unstable ping of smite without a local server :D
That sucks! I hope they get more servers so nice LoL players like you can join. Too many LoL haters in the game at early levels.

LoL player here! I've been keeping an eye on this game ever since the beta has been announced. I even got to play the Beta. DAMN their production value just keeps getting better and better. This God has a really solid visual design, and the Assault map overhaul looks gorgeous. Playing on a toaster right now and it can't handle this game very well. Looking forward to playing this once I get a new one. :)

Role: Guardian (below average stats, focuses on debuffing enemy)
Passive: Burden of Age
Enemies within 50 ft lose a % of their Physical and Magical power
1st ability: Touch of Frailty
Elli's next AA on a god decreases their protections by a percentage.
2nd ability: Overburden
Elli plants her crutch onto the ground, after a 1.5s channel, surrounding enemies take damage over time. During the channel, enemies suffer increasing effects of her passive the closer they are to Elli.
3rd ability: Dead Woman Walking
Elli floats a short distance forward, stopping behind the first enemy god hit and refreshing the cooldown of Touch of Frailty.
Ultimate: Steal Youth
Elli steals the youth of enemy gods, becoming young. This ability deals damage and carries a 60% Movement and Attack speed debuff which is split among all enemies hit (1 = 60%/enemy, 5 = 12%/enemy). Elli gains increased AA damage, as well as Movement and Attack speed and is unable to use her other abilities until this ability is cancelled. The activation of this ability drains 5% of Elli's mana/sec.

Smite is insanely fun and needs skill unlike others... 3 kills from full health to 0 with a press of 1 button just from getting an extra wave of minion farm because the developers decided to make it op.
I'm not really sure what you are saying. But in Smite farm doesn't matter that much. You can stand in lane and hold left mouse button and get almost as much gold as people who are strategically farming minions. In other MOBAs you must last hit minions or else you will be drastically behind. You are probably just a noob MOBA player who likes the more casual games(nothing wrong with that). Smite is a fun game, but does not have as much skill involved as other MOBAs like LoL or DOTA.
wimmy1001 On the other hand, you have to aim your basic attacks and your skills a lot more in Smite than in other MOBAs, plus factor in the different perspective (third person instead of top down). Ultimately, the way I see it, Smite requires more skill as a fighter, whereas other MOBAs require more skill as a commander.

The part about the four giants holding up the heaven make me think of the four giants from legend of Zelda majora's mask. The game actually takes references from several other mythological culture like the four bosses. in the swamp level you this Aztec warrior like character. The Snowhorn mountain level's boss is a giant bull with a man's head, the zora level's boss is a giant fish. This can also be seen as a refference to Babylonian creature known as the Bahumut a giant fish like creature rests below a giant bull Kudjata, along with an angel.

I can definitely relate both characters like Ah Muzen Cab and the Candyman that have the ability to use bees. A deity of bees and a spirit that houses bees, aren’t they a bunch of misfits.

Smite should should take example from LoL's OLDER champion spotlight, since it was way better, way more entertaining and way more informative then this one. Although gotta admit that lore intro was nice idea.

Funnily Ah Muzen Cab isn't the only bee god. The greeks also has a bee god that was said to have been the one to cause the death of Uridice, Orpheus' wife.
The new assault map looks nice, but the constantly moving dogs at the bases are going to cause framerate issues...

Ao shin isnt even out yet and we only have drawings off his POSSIBLE kit. Main reason people say he's a rip off is the same reason this guy is considered a ripoff: similar look and in Ao kuang and Ao shins case similar name. BTW Ao is the name of the dragon kings of the sea
What i do for Ah Muzen Cab is i prioritize his already high attack speed as well as Crit chance.
I use Wing Blade, Rage, Odysseus' Bow, Soul Eater, Deathbringer, and The Executioner with Greater meditation and Greater Sprint. In combination with the buff from the hive this gives me max attack speed, a guaranteed crit after 5 attacks, the lightning effect from the bow, and lifesteal with Greater meditation to also restore my health.
It works great, just be careful because you don't have much health with this build.The idea is kill them before they can hit you

His Ult is only 90 sec cooldown, and picking up his stinger give it back to him almost instantly...I'm sure that will be fine.
This God looks awesome, but after looking at the stats, there may already be balancing issues
Due mainly to Bees! and Swarm, he looks like a more powerful version of Agni, just with physical damage instead. I'm sure balancing will come swiftly though.
