I have the exact same problem with my mouse, at first I thought is was a problem with software on my PC, but after watching some UA-cam videos where people have the same problem, I learned that this is a common issue.

I think you can fix the mouse thing by trying to reduce the Polling Rate in the firmware options, I've seen that be the fix for a few other people with erratic mice... not completely sure though.
I think your right I had the same problem and reducing the Polling Rate stopped it.
I have the same problem but I play on ps4 and but connect my mouse and keyboard. Any ideas how to fix?

@@mikaylablackman7489 I think it’s the same thing, if the mouse you have has a software you can use that to adjust the polling rate, I don’t think you get it on PS4 though so you might have to connect it to a computer.

Love ur vids. Regarding ur mouse, try cleaning the USB port or USB u r using and try cleaning ur mousepad or get a new one. Sometimes it might be sth in ur setting and its rare but it might be a virus

Try wiping the sensor at the bottom. Removes any dust. Works for me everytime

Regarding the lag, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the mouse drivers. If that doesn't work, try another USB port on your PC. Also, check for any available Windows updates, including optional. Hope this helps!

Hey lachy I might now how to solve the thing with your mouse it just happened to me like 1 week ago it was actually my ps4 I just needed to clean my ps4 form the inside and I needed to clear all the data (factory reset). Or you can try to clean the sensor on the bottom of your mouse. and for the black screen flash it has happened to me to but same thing just clear data. I hoped I helped btw love the vids :)

Replace the matt on your desk, might be dirty and causing your mouse to skip a little. I've had this issue with a old pad.
Maybe it helps if you delete the mouse software on your pc and then check, you can then reinstall it back
