The documentary I watched about her mental health made me uncomfortable tbh. I felt bad for her because nobody should be bullied the way she was, period. But she made her band mates lives really difficult and mental health issues do not excuse poor behaviour or toxic behaviour. I think she needs to take some accountability tbh. Big victim energy and she is a victim of bullying but I think she’s a bit of a bully in some terms just my opinion, especially after that live with Nicki, after everything Leanne has done for her. Nasty.

Her venturing into the R&B genre is not the problem.... anyone can sing and produce music in that genre with no issue. The problem is the so many people that she was either black or mixed/racially ambiguous and she's not. You don't have to try to be black/mixed to perform and r&b song. Just be yourself. And whilst I'm sure a lot of white people do understand that they as a race have done many terrible things, they shouldn't have to be constantly put on a pedestal to fix all of society's problems, and then other races feel like by comparing its going to solve everything. Her leaving the band was a group decision. She had a severe panic attack after the sweet melody video was released because she gained a few pounds and people would notice, and they did, so it came down to the girls speaking to her mother about possibly taking a break from the band and get proper help for her mental health she decided to leave and they all agreed to it. they (some fans) also pointed out that she was darker toned than usual in the sweet melody video (which isn't bad, you can tan. That's fine) and i think that that also triggered her attack. Leigh anne has mentioned it to her, the groups manager told her about it, she isn't clueless about the whole blackfishing issue she just continues to ignore it and now her whole narrative is that she grew up on that, she grew up listening to black artist and it inspires her and her music (which also isn't a problem). The problem however, is she has been sporting different "black" style braids and hair, having tanned skin (which is darker than leigh anne, the black woman in LM) and lip fillers (again, having that is fine. It's their body) all together and it makes her look racially ambiguous. A LOT of people has thought she was black or at least mixed not white and that's the problem. The features that she has on is celebrated while that same feature on a black woman is seen as ugly and disgusting. She can take it off any time she wants it off but a black person can't. We have always run with the narrative that black women are just jealous of white people and are just angry but we have never stopped to think and listen why they're angry. Jealousy is an emotion you feel when you can't have something you wish you do, black women not getting celebrated for their features while white women who gets it through surgeries gets appreciated. Maybe sit down and listen to the voices of the people who are ignored and not the people who has time and time again done the same thing that angered the ignored voices.

I have met her before she was famous in Romford and know people that where her friends in school (but not any more) she was so rude and refused to see other people's points of view and when it didn't go her own way she would cause a scene lie and say that she was being bullied. The issue I have is how she’s treated the other girls. She completely wiped any piece of connection to little mix off her social media, unfollowed the other girls, didn’t even congratulate Perrie or Leigh on the pregnancy or birth of their babies, didn’t even acknowledge Leigh with her documentary about being black in the music industry as a pop singer and her whole attitude towards the other girls basically saying she’s better and sick of being compared to the others when I literally never saw anyone ever do that. All people did was support her and she did that to the girls. I don’t care about her wanting to release solo music, it’s how she’s treated the girls that’s inexcusable to me.
I think they were great as a group however as solo artists none of them will do just as amazingly so please it’s time to build bridges and get back together!🙌
The reason people are mad is cause your initial reason was bullshit, clearly. The real reason you wanted to quit was to be a solo artist and that’s fine but then you should have initially stood in that truth because saying that there was a lot of pressure being in a girl group and that it was overwhelming doesn’t make sense when you then turn around and start teasing solo music like don’t you think there is going to be MORE pressure on you as a solo artist and going to be more overwhelming considering your now taking 100 percent compared to 25%. Now your going to be compared to all the other girls out here like Ariana for example because that’s what this industry does. Her leaving the band was a group decision. She had a severe panic attack after the sweet melody video was released because she gained a few pounds and people would notice, and they did, so it came down to the girls speaking to her mother about possibly taking a break from the band and get proper help for her mental health she decided to leave and they all agreed to it. they (some fans) also pointed out that she was darker toned than usual in the sweet melody video (which isn't bad, you can tan. That's fine) and i think that that also triggered her attack. Leigh anne has mentioned it to her, the groups manager told her about it, she isn't clueless about the whole blackfishing issue she just continues to ignore it and now her whole narrative is that she grew up on that, she grew up listening to black artist and it inspires her and her music (which also isn't a problem). The problem however, is she has been sporting different "black" style braids and hair, having tanned skin (which is darker than leigh anne, the black woman in LM) and lip fillers (again, having that is fine. It's their body) all together and it makes her look racially ambiguous. A LOT of people has thought she was black or at least mixed not white and that's the problem. The features that she has on is celebrated while that same feature on a black woman is seen as ugly and disgusting. She can take it off any time she wants it off but a black person can't. We have always run with the narrative that black women are just jealous of white people and are just angry but we have never stopped to think and listen why they're angry. Jealousy is an emotion you feel when you can't have something you wish you do, black women not getting celebrated for their features while white women who gets it through surgeries gets appreciated. Maybe sit down and listen to the voices of the people who are ignored and not the people who has time and time again done the same thing that angered the ignored voices.

@Aquarius Jazz The comment didn't said" made everyone happy".. and also while she was in the group she got compared alot (and lots of things happened) which may affected her mental health, so she have the right to get out of the group if she thinks her mental health will improve by that and makes her self-love grow back. But I still find it wrong for her to be mean to her (old) group because literally from what we can see they look at her like a real sister and supported her and just because now she's out she can't just be mean to the group who gave her lots of support.
Little Mix have always been my biggest role models. Let me say though, what makes her think being a single artist under a different management makes it better? Th judgements never changed…it’s life man.
I respect her decisions, choosing yourself first over others is never selfish and I'm proud of her.
But she is a stubborn women, she only sees what she wants to 👀, in her documentary she wasn't comfortable with the girls because in her head she wasn't fat- she was fat compared to the other girls.

I have met her before she was famous in Romford and know people that where her friends in school (but not any more) she was so rude and refused to see other people's points of view and when it didn't go her own way she would cause a scene lie and say that she was being bullied.

The issue I have is how she’s treated the other girls. She completely wiped any piece of connection to little mix off her social media, unfollowed the other girls, didn’t even congratulate Perrie or Leigh on the pregnancy or birth of their babies, didn’t even acknowledge Leigh with her documentary about being black in the music industry as a pop singer and her whole attitude towards the other girls basically saying she’s better and sick of being compared to the others when I literally never saw anyone ever do that. All people did was support her and she did that to the girls. I don’t care about her wanting to release solo music, it’s how she’s treated the girls that’s inexcusable to me.

The reason people are mad is cause your initial reason was bullshit, clearly. The real reason you wanted to quit was to be a solo artist and that’s fine but then you should have initially stood in that truth because saying that there was a lot of pressure being in a girl group and that it was overwhelming doesn’t make sense when you then turn around and start teasing solo music like don’t you think there is going to be MORE pressure on you as a solo artist and going to be more overwhelming considering your now taking 100 percent compared to 25%. Now your going to be compared to all the other girls out here like Ariana for example because that’s what this industry does.
