"ACCENDIO" is a singular of "Accendium" which mean "a setting on fire", following the motif, just as there is a dark and good version of IVE the mirror opposite of FIRE is WATER. WATER is the MAIN DOMAIN of these entities, dark!Yujin creates a portal to a place to fight magic!IVE where it's surrounded by an endless ocean. The MV begins with Leeseo ascending from the WATER, as if she was being 'REBORN' into a different person and Wonyoung urges Gaeul to join them. They all look at Gaeul with indifference like she's a prey, but Gaeul notices that something is wrong with the water and these are not her friends. As soon as they notice that she knows their identities, they hide in their domain. Rei counts the seconds to undo the possession since they've been caught and needs to flee. They can't complete their motive if someone knows their real identities. The girls seem to return to normal after leaving the water. I don't know if there are similar fairy tales in other countries, but in Korea, there is a fairy tale that if you don't clean up after cutting your fingernails and toenails, rats will eat them and turn into the same human form. Of course, the story of IVE's nails is not in the music video, but the story of the rat that looks like me usually starts from that fairy tale.
The whole mv was awkward on purpose. The random posing before fighting, having a dance off before battle, gaeul hiding the magical wand in a fridge, the evil witches turning into rats and running away. It's a very funny mv
My prediction for accendio is that the thing that gaeul "stole" was a piece of a bigger wand (the one that wonyoung created) which was owned by bad/evil Ive. Evil ive tried to make good ive turn into evil ive by the water in the pool, which is the reason why good ive looked creepy/weird in the pool, but gaeul was scared of water, probably the reason why she had a floatie and in fear she ran away to the woods (indicating gaeul had a very big fear of water) while she was crying and scared. She saw a gate randomly in the forest and saw people doing a ritual on it, she probably realised they looked like good ive and thought they were trying to put a spell on good ive to make them evil, so she sneakily grabbed the piece of the wand and ran away back to good ive by a bicycle. The wand transformed Ive and they temporarily got the power of the wand.Evil Ive ended up seeing gaeul with the piece of wand from the mirror they had and went to get it back. Good ive had to keep the wand safe till 12 am. Bad ive came to good ive to retrieve the wand and get the power but they were deafeated. Gaeul, mid fight, put the wand in the fridge thinking they would not be able to find it which turned out true as when the clock hit 12, bad ive disappeared. But when ive checked the fridge, the wand disappeared. This happened as the wand had to be in the hands of someone at 12 am to transfer the power to them, but since it wasnt in the hands of them, it changed its location to find another person to give the power. Ps: bad/evil ive probably tried to make good ive evil as before making the whole wand was so that there was no threat of the wand being stolen, but since gaeul got the wand before the ritual was done, good ive was saved, but they didn't get the powers as the wand wasnt in the hands of anyone when the clock hit 12
so on the last part, Wonyoung ended the fight by flickering her finger in sync with the song "ascend with your fingertips" (acciendio) making them (the evil ive) disappear.
