Thoughts on Jas.1:14 --> "of"?
"hupo" = under, not of
Temptation by Satan happens "under" our God-given desires (all of them).
Cause = Satan.
Thoughts:
We will always choose/yield one of the two spiritual solicitations in all circumstances: 1) temptation by Satan, or 2) trail of faith in God.
Temptation --> to trap (Satan overcomes spiritual development)
Trail --> to confirm (Spirit overcomes fleshly desire)
Greatest temptation... is to desire no trial at all. ;)
