So this is the storyline that I’ve interpreted from the animation: Veinl and Needle were dating, and Veinl was really happy with him. One day, they were out on a date by the bridge, and Needle pushed Veinl off the bridge because he didn’t truly love him. Veinl was shocked. When Needle came down to see if he was dead, Veinl was so upset he became a monster and murdered Veinl. After that, he became incredibly lonely, and began killing other couples because he didn’t want to be reminded of his toxic relationship. Your stories are always super cool!

My theory: Scientist creates an undying human being through very unethical experiments and conditions and manipulates them to love them. Then has them escorted to lovers bridge which has a dried riverbed, the experiment thinks he's going on a lovely date, until he gets shoved off the end. The scientist checks if he's still alive, and is happy when he sees his eyes move to him, the scientist thinks the blow paralyzed him and starts to walk off... But then gets grabbed and sees... a monster... Now all the experimented human sees when in public is abusive relationships whenever there's a couple together, an abusive relationship (accused or otherwise) he feels the need to stop before it escalates...

When Phelan found out, he was heartbroken, then in a snap of rage, he murdered her
