In comparison, Drae spent 8799 at the storage auction and the rental value increased from smth a little below 8674 (not shown in vid, thats the value after the first bed is placed) to 9775 for an increase of 1101+ the rental value of the bed; still likely less than the amount that the cheaper purchased furniture cost
Purchasin furniture **is** worth it compared to the bad auction hauls Drae pulled today, but Drae misremembered how much money he had when; it happens. Hopefully he notices it at some pt when reviewin the vid, and catches on how to better spend his cash
Tho also, who knows, a sample value of 2 is rather low for the auctions to compare, so maybe more data is needed to know if auctions are worth it or not

Drae, the storage locker auctions is a real thing.
Most of the time in reality its a locker that someone abandoned and they just sell it all at once, but they do have the door open or photos so you can look and see to get a general idea of what is in there, but not specifics.

Do more expensive items raise the rent more than cheaper ones? If not, just fill each house with xxx amount of the cheapest item and call it a day

On blackjack you would hit a 15 against a face card so that was correct it's called basic strategy also is it still a bug to just fill the house with plants

Wait seriously? In the first fight attempt Drae didn't attempt to move? Just assumed the game was bugged? WHY? HOW? I don't know why I'm asking at this point, but my brain hurts..
Not sayin this as a dig at the game, but just to highlight why this is the way it is and also help explain how the dev adds content so easily
This fight mechanic is 100% just taken from some cheap or maybe even free fighting simulator template designed to mimic those side scroller fighters. Even the fact that you have to move right first before the enemy appears fits with such, as those templates do exactly that
Theres a lot of things used in this game which are just templates but reskinned and with their own text added, and some minor adjustments which may even be just other templates (like the lifebars bein diff than a side scroller fighter, but akin to a default fightin game template)
I actually consider this game to be a grt example of how those templates can be used to quickly make content thats actually worthy of a pricetag and isnt a scam; unlike sooooo many scamware products that exist which dont even do anythin to try to assure the game is even playable, let alone enjoyable
Even if its made of templates, its still a better presentation of that instd of just presentin us a turd on a plate like pressure washing simulator or car truck boat auto vehicle grand drivin thief simulator
