Building A River Rock Table - Part 2: Sealing the Live Edge - IG Video

- As promised, here is Step 2 in the river rock table build.
Step 1 was building the mold. Now, I need to secure my live edge to ensure no bubbles form. I never do this on charcuterie boards, and I promise you I’ve poured over 400 and have never had an issue. I do it with this table because I’ll have a lot of clear epoxy and I figure better to be safe than sorry.
It’s important to let the table top epoxy sit for the curing time before pouring your actual epoxy.
Step 3 will be shown tomorrow evening!

Don’t mind my ugly jugs. They get so nasty 🤣

Can you seal with table top epoxy since it cures faster as long as i make sure it’s still tacky before I deep pour??
Yes, that’s what I did in this video.
Oh woops didn’t realize! Thank you!
@@Eaglespence11 haha no worries! Thanks for watching
Forgot to ask as well. About how long do you let the table top seal cure to get tacky so you can than deep pour!? Sorry for so many questions
@@Eaglespence11 you could do it when it’s tacky, but I just let it harden over night and then pour the next day.
