can i use this on a canon 5d2 with an adapter without the "only macro" problem ? im about to spend 40$ for an adapter to use this lens i found on a flea market
Nope. Very few 35mm lenses can directly adapt to Canon EF and retain infinity focus. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flange_focal_distance There's a good list of register distances by mount. EF is 44mm (AR, by comparison is 40.5mm.) You would need lenses with a 44mm or longer register distance to find an adapter that allows infinity focus.
Liked this lens, but never liked Konica's SLRs (ergonomics). Some of their P/S were good, (e.g. Gonba Kontaku) but others were too bulky/weird/bad (e.g AiBorg).
its actually pretty good on gfx. minus the flaring. 2.8 is golden though!
Thank you for your review of the 40. I have yet to play with one I think it comes close to the 50 f1.7
Nice! The 50mm 1.7 is another good one.
tyvm for the review. I think my only gripe is a too long mdf
Thank you! Yeah, that's a drawback of pancake lenses, unfortunately. And it is a bit frustrating sometimes.

I absolutely agree. I find the Konica cameras to be too large, especially since competing and similar cameras of the same age are smaller and lighter.
