skateboarding has such a good community me and my homies always go to the skatepark together every week and there is just incredible people there and it's awesome when they hype you up to try something new
Great content as usual Ricky! I myself just picked skateboarding back up 3 months ago on my 29th birthday after a 10 year hiatus due to drugs and alcohol addiction. Glad I kicked the addiction and am riding again. Bmx and aggressive inline skating is what I was best at but due to an back injury 3 years ago, I picked up a board instead to work my legs and lower back out. After 3 months I am happy to say I feel I am confident enough to get back to bmxing as well, currently looking for a decent setup. The entire Braille crew inspired me to get back at it. Keep doing what you guys do and pushing us skateboarders, aggressive inliners and bmxers to keep going.
At Woodward in the summer 1996, Tony was playing the Attack from Mars pinball machine at the camp store all by himself so I walked up and stood next to him. He proceeded to talk to 16 year old me for like 20 minutes and popped in a few dollars into the machine so I could play with him. Such a gracious dude and so kind with his time! Tony, this kid will never forget you
That cop at about 3:45 in is a local cop in Virginia where I live, he rides around on his breaks to the skate parks and was a former skater himself. The dude’s so rad and a lovely human to be around. I think I’ve met him once outside the uniform.
Thanks Ricky. Skating is awesome. Tony makes dreams come true. As a 46 year old skater I've had my share of helping kids drop in and ollie and 50-50 grind for the first time. It's so freaking rewarding. You see them a few years later and they are shredding! now im getting emotional. You rock Brah!
I am not sure if you read your comments, but I found your channel today. I am 39 years old, and only electric longboard (no tricks, too heavy), but I am going to buy a skateboard and practice. You are an inspiration my dude. If you're ever in Calgary, Canada... hanging out for an afternoon would be a "make a wish" haha (I'm not dying)
I’m now 52. Both my sons have skated since they were about 5. I have decided I gonna learn to ride bowls so I can surprise them next time I see them. Planning on finding time early morning and late nights so I don’t make a dick of myself with others around and then I’m gonna reveal my new found skills. Ps my sons are 30 and 28. Wish me luck
@rickyglaser oh great news!! I hope you haven't lost too much. I'm sure it will come back pretty easy though just gotta strengthen that leg back up. ❤️
i follow most of the youngins cause they are soo damn talented and they need all the support we can give them. they are the future and they deserve the praise for their commitment and the fun they have with their family doing so. one of the girls are half Danish half Australian too mate, she is the coolest and her progress she has made with her dad is insane!!! her name is slipping my mind, but they travel the world as a family skating all the good spots. when i remember her name ill tag her in ;) keep up the awesome vids Ricky this is spot on, bringing the focus on the new generation
Hey ricky i have a question abt kickflips so im learing and i wanted to know how i can stop my back foot from flicking outwards instead of inwards so i can land it i can flip the board just not land on it any tips?
Man how cops have changed. Just skated at Reading Phillies Stadium and a worker guy was like, " You do realize this is illegal right?" I was like, " sure, what next?" then he just coward away in the stadium. Then we went skating at a grocery store in Reading right in front of cops and they were cheering us on lol.
Rick tell the Braille House it’s time to finally make the video of Gabe dropping in the vert wall!!! Pls I comment on almost every new video saying it every time haha
Tony is a legend

The blind skateboarder brought a tear to my eye. Skateboarding is also s visual thing. And he can't experience that part.
I'm not crying you are crying!
Ricky i cant have you makin me cry at 1030 am

6:30 I loved the little dude's skateboard, so cute ❤
They are from Kenya in Africa known as the Maasai. The Maasai warriors are known for standing in one spot and jumping super high.

Fun & joy
Pretty rare to see a shepherd dog, it's usually bulldogs and I think most of them are just asserting dominance over the board.
