She gives off the energy that she sincerely loves what she does and honestly I'm loving that. Great job finding these artisans vic keep up the great work!
That was my immediate impression as well-she loves what she's doing, she takes her time (I'm still in awe of her shampoo alone...); Id absolutely book an appointment if I were anywhere near Japan ;-)

I agree with the shampooing.. where I’d go.. it’s always the elderly grandma helper in the shop that shampooed me.. a bit assertive .. commands you to “ take a seat here”- pointing to the shampoo chair.. bundles you up in huge cape and towels .. says “ put your head all the way back “ not asking if your comfortable.. and if she doesn’t get your neck situated properly it gets uncomfortable.. uses the hose sprayer like a power washer and when she’s “scrubbing” and moving your head in all directions she says “ keep your head all the way back “ very interesting shampooing experience.

You have definitely found yourself a little diamond. She took a normal haircut and a shave and turned it into a Spa session for you. I was so relaxed after all was said and done, I can only imagine how you felt afterward. I like the way she dedicates herself to her craft, it really shows that she cares for her customer's comfort and appearance when all is said and done. Hopefully, you will have the chance to make more videos with her and I can't wait to see how Shawn will react to her cares. Good job as always keep them coming.

The audio sounded weird to me, kind of metallic if that makes sense. other than that this was a great video. I wish we had more barbers who take that much pride in their work here in the states. Great job Mitsuyo .

ASMR doesnt mean keep in silent, her voice already in ASMR mode such lovely.
She is very serene and relaxing to watch and very good at her job, definitely a place I need to remember if I ever need a haircut in Japan
Esther has the most beautiful pair of hands I can remember seeing and has a gentle, almost graceful touch; very special!
My father owned his own barbershop in Los Angeles for 53 years. I never saw anyone of his barbers or my current barber, Max, show such professionalism. Bravo!

I started to go to sleep myself watching this barber.. Relaxing to the max.. I've never had a cut, shave, massage, like that before but I'm going to find a shop that does them and go .. This barber is really good at her trade..

I seldom comment but Esther adds an additional dynamic to your videos. I love the intense sounds created by the professional barbers you frequent in Japan but her warmth and open demeanor really adds a positive feel to you library.

I've been waiting for this video! *grabs tea, gets comfortable* loved the backstory at the beginning of the video; it's always gratifying to see people have the courage to go after their dreams. Good on you, Mitsuyo!
The shop is beautiful; care has obviously been put into the shop's aesthetics; with its warm palette, it's got an immediate sense of coziness paired with luxury-I like it!
It's also patently apparent that Mitsuyo truly cares about the experience she's giving her customers; she *really* loves what she's doing and the attention and skill she puts into her craft is obvious. That shampoo video alone made me regret being in the US and not Japan! Congratulations on being a stellar barber, Mitsuyo! If I ever make it to Japan I'll do my best to secure an appointment with you! Cheers!

Had a little trouble with sound but the space IS enclosed. Wear headphones at max volume.

@@ASMRJapan I'm going to have to agree on the poor sound quality unfortunately. I watched the preview video with just the shampoo and the sound was perfect and I was really looking forward to the full video. This videos sound is very tingy and unpleasing to the ear. Not sure if there would be a way for you to fix because I really would like to enjoy this video!
It is way too EQ-d. Lack of low frequencies and little to no compression aplied (or incorrectly applied). It seem a editing issue because the preview sound was ok.
@@scottinbristol Gotta agree with you. I get this is ASMR channel but the sound quality just isn't what it used to be. I like that he had multiple cameras and in that regard the filming was good considering he didn't have a cameraman/woman.

No joke! I went to sportclips the other day and the stylist was 290lbs and it felt like I was being sheered like a lamb.

Wow, what a service !.Mitsuyo is charming and offers the ultimate in pampering in a completely different league , incredibly relaxing to watch .I have to confess I found the sound slightly faint , distorted and ' tinny ' at times but that is a very small critisism to an otherwise epic and very professional video , especially at the start.5 stars !.
