✳মানুষ ধর্ম নিয়ে বিভিন্ন কথা বলে ৷ হিন্দুরা বলবে গীতা হল ঈশ্বরের বাণী, আর মুসলিমরা বলবে কুরআন হল ঈশ্বরের বাণী ৷ তাই আসুন আমরা হিন্দু ও ইসলাম ধর্মের কমন বিষয়গুলো মেনে নি তাহলে আমরা এক হতে পারব ৷ কুরআন বলছে Surah Aal-e-Imran, Verse 64: বলুনঃ ‘হে আহলে-কিতাবগণ! একটি বিষয়ের দিকে আস-যা আমাদের মধ্যে ও তোমাদের মধ্যে সমান-যে, আমরা আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্য কারও ইবাদত করব না, তাঁর সাথে কোন শরীক সাব্যস্ত করব না এবং একমাত্র আল্লাহকে ছাড়া কাউকে পালনকর্তা বানাব না। তারপর যদি তারা স্বীকার না করে, তাহলে বলে দাও যে, ‘সাক্ষী থাক আমরা তো অনুগত। তাই আসুন হিন্দু ও ইসলাম ধর্মের সাদৃশ্য গুলো জানা যাক ৷ #হিন্দু ধর্ম গ্রন্থ বলছে- ১। স্রষ্টা মাত্র একজনিই, দ্বিতীয় কেউ নেই ৷ _ছানদোগয উপনিষদ (৬ অধ্যায় ২পরিচ্ছেদ ১অনুচ্ছেদ ) ২। তারা অন্ধকারে প্রবল যারা প্রাকৃতিক বস্তুুর পূজা করল (যেমন আগুন, পানি, পাহাড়, গাছ ইত্যাদি এবং তারা আরো বেশি অন্ধকারে প্রবেশ করল যারা মানুষের তৈরী বস্তুুর (চেয়ার, টেবিল, মূর্তি) পূজা করল ( যজুর্বেদ বেদ-ch-4 V-9)৷ ৩৷যজুর্বেদ আরো বলছে- মহান প্রভুর কোন মূর্তি বা প্রতিমা নেই (ch-32, V-1) ৷ ৪৷অর্থর্বেদ অধঃ ৩২ অনু ৩ বলছে- সর্বশক্তিমান ঈশ্বরের কোন মূর্তি নেই, তিনি জন্ম গ্রহণ করে নি, একমাত্র তারই পূজা করা উচিত ৷ ৫৷রিগবেদ গ্রন্থ ৬ অধঃ৪৫ অনু ১৬ বলছে-তাহার উপাসনা কর যিনি এক ও অদ্বিতীয় ( সত্য প্রকাশ নারায়ণ এবং সত্য কামবিদ্যালংকার এর লিখিত রিগবেদ থেকে ইংরেজী করেছেন রেল ডি গ্রিফিত ) ৬৷ ভগবত গিতা বলছে-যাদের জ্ঞান দুনিয়াবি আকাঙ্খা দ্বারা বিলুপ্ত হয়েছে সেসব জড়বাদী লোকেরা যাদের হ্রদয় কেড়ে নিয়েছে জাগতিক অাকাঙ্খা তারা মূর্তি পূজা করে (অধঃ৭ অনু ২০) ৭৷ সেতাসিদ্দ উপনিষদ বলছে-সৃষ্টিকর্তার কোন বাবা মা নেই (ch-6 V-2) ৷ #ইসলামে কুরআন বলছে সুরা ইখলাসে ১৷ বল তিনি আল্লাহ এক ও অদ্বিতায় ৷ ২৷ আল্লাহ কারো মুখাপেক্ষী নন, সকলেই তার মুখাপেক্ষী ৷ ৩৷তিনি কাউকে জন্ম দেন নি এবং তাকে কেউ জন্ম দেয় নি ৷ ৪৷ আর তার সমতুল্য কোন কিছু নেই ৷ এছাড়া সুরা যুমারে ১৭ নং আয়াতে আল্লাহ বলছে যারা শয়তানী শক্তির পূজা-অর্চনা থেকে দূরে থাকে এবং আল্লাহ অভিমুখি হয়, তাদের জন্য রয়েছে সুসংবাদ ৷ ‘হে আমার রব, আপনি এ শহরকে নিরাপদ করে দিন এবং আমাকে ও আমার সন্তানদেরকে মূর্তি পূজা থেকে দূরে রাখুন’ (আল কোরআন, সূরা ইব্রাহিম/৩৫) আমি সংক্ষেপে হিন্দু ধর্মের সাদৃশ্যগুলো আলোচনা করেছি ধর্মগ্রন্থ হতে ৷ তাই আসুন আমরা এইগুলো মেনে চলি তাহলে সবাই এক হতে পারব ৷

My dear King, when great sages and saintly persons saw mutually disrespectful dealings at the beginning of Treta-yuga, Deity worship in the temple was introduced with all paraphernalia. SB 7.14.39 We learn, again from ‘the Vedas’, that the beginning of Treta yuga was more than a million years ago, and Treta yuga follows Satya yuga, when there was no need for deity worship. So initially there was no deity worship but after the halcyon days of Satya yuga ended it was introduced to help mankind achieve perfection. In Vedic terminology an idol is different to a deity. An idol is a concocted form that is purely material and no different to any other piece of matter. A deity or archa vigraha is an authorized form of the Lord that is represented in material elements. The archa-vigraha form can be made of different elements, namely a form within the mind, a form made of wood, a form made of earth, a form made of metal, a form made of jewels, a form made of paint, a form drawn on sand, etc., but it must be made according to shastra. One cannot put a broomstick on an altar and worship it. One cannot invent a new form of the Lord, carve it out of wood then worship it. Once the authorized form is made, there is a ceremony to invite the Lord to enter the form and accept worship. This is called pran pratishtha, and then after the ceremony is performed there should be no reduction in the regular daily worship. Because worshiping the Lord in His archa-vigraha form requires a certain level of purity and cleanliness, it is not for everyone. If there are no people qualified as pujaris then it is best not to even bring up the topic. People addicted to eating meat and other impure activities, and who are unaccustomed to bathing twice a day throughout the year, should not be given responsibility for serving a deity directly. They can watch from outside the deity’s room. If you have an entire culture in which the minimum necessary requirements for deity worship are lacking, then there is no point in introducing the archa-vigraha form of the Lord as it will lead to offenses. If you do not know what the prescribed forms of the Lord are, then again it’s best to avoid and forbid anyone from trying to come up with their idea of what God looks like. But if there is a culture that fosters the qualities of brahmanas, and if you have clear descriptions of the forms of deities, and accompanying instructions on how to worship them, then you are good to go. In Kali yuga it is not so easy to find sufficient numbers of qualified brahmanas for steady deity worship. To offset this problem the Lord incarnated and propagated the chanting of the Lord’s names. Therefore chanting of the Hare Krsna mantra is more powerful than Deity worship. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu set a practical example in that He did not establish any temples or Deities, but He profusely introduced the sankirtana movement. Therefore people should give more stress to the sankirtana movement, especially by distributing transcendental literature more and more. This helps the sankirtana movement and will help everyone find the peace and happiness they seek. For those that don’t know any of this, it’s best not to concern themselves with what others are doing and concentrate on doing the best they can with what they have.

Bhagavat Purana. My dear King, when great sages and saintly persons saw mutually disrespectful dealings at the beginning of Treta-yuga, Deity worship in the temple was introduced with all paraphernalia. SB 7.14.39 We learn, again from ‘the Vedas’, that the beginning of Treta yuga was more than a million years ago, and Treta yuga follows Satya yuga, when there was no need for deity worship. So initially there was no deity worship but after the halcyon days of Satya yuga ended it was introduced to help mankind achieve perfection. In Vedic terminology an idol is different to a deity. An idol is a concocted form that is purely material and no different to any other piece of matter. A deity or archa vigraha is an authorized form of the Lord that is represented in material elements. The archa-vigraha form can be made of different elements, namely a form within the mind, a form made of wood, a form made of earth, a form made of metal, a form made of jewels, a form made of paint, a form drawn on sand, etc., but it must be made according to shastra. One cannot put a broomstick on an altar and worship it. One cannot invent a new form of the Lord, carve it out of wood then worship it. Once the authorized form is made, there is a ceremony to invite the Lord to enter the form and accept worship. This is called pran pratishtha, and then after the ceremony is performed there should be no reduction in the regular daily worship. Because worshiping the Lord in His archa-vigraha form requires a certain level of purity and cleanliness, it is not for everyone. If there are no people qualified as pujaris then it is best not to even bring up the topic. People addicted to eating meat and other impure activities, and who are unaccustomed to bathing twice a day throughout the year, should not be given responsibility for serving a deity directly. They can watch from outside the deity’s room. If you have an entire culture in which the minimum necessary requirements for deity worship are lacking, then there is no point in introducing the archa-vigraha form of the Lord as it will lead to offenses. If you do not know what the prescribed forms of the Lord are, then again it’s best to avoid and forbid anyone from trying to come up with their idea of what God looks like. But if there is a culture that fosters the qualities of brahmanas, and if you have clear descriptions of the forms of deities, and accompanying instructions on how to worship them, then you are good to go. In Kali yuga it is not so easy to find sufficient numbers of qualified brahmanas for steady deity worship. To offset this problem the Lord incarnated and propagated the chanting of the Lord’s names. Therefore chanting of the Hare Krsna mantra is more powerful than Deity worship. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu set a practical example in that He did not establish any temples or Deities, but He profusely introduced the sankirtana movement. Therefore people should give more stress to the sankirtana movement, especially by distributing transcendental literature more and more. This helps the sankirtana movement and will help everyone find the peace and happiness they seek. For those that don’t know any of this, it’s best not to concern themselves with what others are doing and concentrate on doing the best they can with what they have.

সম্মানিত হিন্দু ভাই আপনি বলতে চাইছেন যে হিন্দু ধর্মে মূর্তিপূজা করার কারণ হলো ঈস্বরের প্রতি বিশ্বাস, ভালোবাসা এবং তার প্রতি মনোনিবেশ করতে মূর্তির প্রয়োজন হয়ে থাকে (যেমন বাবা মায়ের উদাহরণ দিলেন)। সম্মানিত ভাই যখন ঈস্বরি বলেছেন যে তোমরা আমার মূর্তি ছাড়া উপাসনা করো, তার পরেও কি বলবেন যে এই মূর্তিগুলো ঈস্বরের প্রতি বিশ্বাস, ভালোবাসা এবং মনোনিবেশ করতে সহায়তা করে? হিন্দু ধর্মগ্রন্থে বলা হয়েছে এটা আছে শ্বেতাশ্বেতর উপনিষদ, অধ্যায় ৪ অনুচ্ছেদ ১৯ এবং আরো বলা হয়েছে যুযুর্বেদ, অধ্যায় ৩২ অনুচ্ছেদ ৩ ঈস্বরের কোনো মূর্তি নেই কোনো প্রতিমা নেই ভাস্কর্য নেই অঙ্কন চিএ নেই কোনো আলোক চিএ নেই। যখন ঈস্বরি বলেছেন যে তোমরা আমার পূর্তি/ প্রতিমা বানাবে না তার মানি বানাবেন না। ঈস্বরের মূর্তি তৈরি করা মানে আপনি ঈস্বরকে অবমানোনা করছেন। যদি মূর্তিটি ভুলক্রমে পড়ে যায় পড়ে গিয়ে তা ভেঙে যায়? এতো বড় ক্ষমতাশীল ঈস্বরের আপনি মূর্তি তৈরি করছেন এগুলো কে তৈরি করছে মানুষিই এগুলো তৈরি করছে। তখন ঈস্বরি বলবেন আমি মানবজাতি কে বানালাম এখন মানবজাতি বানাচ্ছে আমাকে, কি বোকামি এটা। যখন আপনাদের হিন্দু ধর্মগ্রন্থ বলছে - খ্রীষ্টান ধর্মগ্রন্থে বা অন্যান্য ধর্মগ্রন্থে বলা হয়েছে যে তোমরা ঈস্বরের মূর্তি ছাড়া সরাসরি উপাসনা করো তখন আপনাদের উচিত ঈস্বরের নির্দেশ মেনে চলা এবং মূর্তি ছাড়া তার উপাসনা করা। যেহেতু হিন্দু ধর্মগ্রন্থ অনুমতি দেই না ঈস্বরের মূর্তি তৈরি করতে সেক্ষেত্রে আপনাদের উচিত লোক জনকে তা জানানো যে এটাই হলো আমাদের বিশ্বাসের মূলনীতি আর আপনারা কোনো মূর্তি পূজা ছাড়াই এক ঈস্বরের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করতে পারেন। হিন্দু ধর্ম গ্রন্থে বলা আছে ছান্দ্যোগ্য উপনিষদ, অধ্যায় ৬ অনুচ্ছেদ ২ পরিচ্ছেদ/শ্লোক ১ ঈস্বর এক দ্বিতীয় কেউ নেই। কেউ নেই কেউ নেই আর কেউ নেই ঈস্বর কেবল মাএ একজনিই।

কোন মুসলিম তাদের ঘরে জীবন্ত কিংবা মৃত বাবা মায়ের ছবি রাখে না। আর ছবি থাকলেও সেটার উদ্দেশ্য পূজা করা বা ইবাদত করা না। উল্লেখযোগ্য মুসলিমদের ঘরে কোন মূর্তির ছবি রাখা নিষেধ.

বলুনঃ ‘হে আহলে-কিতাবগণ! একটি বিষয়ের দিকে আস-যা আমাদের মধ্যে ও তোমাদের মধ্যে সমান-যে, আমরা আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্য কারও ইবাদত করব না, তাঁর সাথে কোন শরীক সাব্যস্ত করব না এবং একমাত্র আল্লাহকে ছাড়া কাউকে পালনকর্তা বানাব না। তারপর যদি তারা স্বীকার না করে, তাহলে বলে দাও যে, ‘সাক্ষী থাক আমরা তো অনুগত। তাই আসুন হিন্দু ও ইসলাম ধর্মের সাদৃশ্য গুলো জানা যাক ৷

My dear King, when great sages and saintly persons saw mutually disrespectful dealings at the beginning of Treta-yuga, Deity worship in the temple was introduced with all paraphernalia. SB 7.14.39
We learn, again from ‘the Vedas’, that the beginning of Treta yuga was more than a million years ago, and Treta yuga follows Satya yuga, when there was no need for deity worship. So initially there was no deity worship but after the halcyon days of Satya yuga ended it was introduced to help mankind achieve perfection.
In Vedic terminology an idol is different to a deity. An idol is a concocted form that is purely material and no different to any other piece of matter. A deity or archa vigraha is an authorized form of the Lord that is represented in material elements. The archa-vigraha form can be made of different elements, namely a form within the mind, a form made of wood, a form made of earth, a form made of metal, a form made of jewels, a form made of paint, a form drawn on sand, etc., but it must be made according to shastra. One cannot put a broomstick on an altar and worship it. One cannot invent a new form of the Lord, carve it out of wood then worship it.
Once the authorized form is made, there is a ceremony to invite the Lord to enter the form and accept worship. This is called pran pratishtha, and then after the ceremony is performed there should be no reduction in the regular daily worship.
Because worshiping the Lord in His archa-vigraha form requires a certain level of purity and cleanliness, it is not for everyone. If there are no people qualified as pujaris then it is best not to even bring up the topic. People addicted to eating meat and other impure activities, and who are unaccustomed to bathing twice a day throughout the year, should not be given responsibility for serving a deity directly. They can watch from outside the deity’s room.
If you have an entire culture in which the minimum necessary requirements for deity worship are lacking, then there is no point in introducing the archa-vigraha form of the Lord as it will lead to offenses. If you do not know what the prescribed forms of the Lord are, then again it’s best to avoid and forbid anyone from trying to come up with their idea of what God looks like.
But if there is a culture that fosters the qualities of brahmanas, and if you have clear descriptions of the forms of deities, and accompanying instructions on how to worship them, then you are good to go. In Kali yuga it is not so easy to find sufficient numbers of qualified brahmanas for steady deity worship. To offset this problem the Lord incarnated and propagated the chanting of the Lord’s names. Therefore chanting of the Hare Krsna mantra is more powerful than Deity worship. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu set a practical example in that He did not establish any temples or Deities, but He profusely introduced the sankirtana movement. Therefore people should give more stress to the sankirtana movement, especially by distributing transcendental literature more and more. This helps the sankirtana movement and will help everyone find the peace and happiness they seek.
For those that don’t know any of this, it’s best not to concern themselves with what others are doing and concentrate on doing the best they can with what they have.

In Kali yuga it is not so easy to find sufficient numbers of qualified brahmanas for steady deity worship. To offset this problem the Lord incarnated and propagated the chanting of the Lord’s names. Therefore chanting of the Hare Krsna mantra is more powerful than Deity worship. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu set a practical example in that He did not establish any temples or Deities, but He profusely introduced the sankirtana movement. Therefore people should give more stress to the sankirtana movement, especially by distributing transcendental literature more and more. This helps the sankirtana movement and will help everyone find the peace and happiness they seek.
For those that don’t know any of this, it’s best not to concern themselves with what others are doing and concentrate on doing the best they can with what they have.

যদি ভক্তি শক্তি মনস্তের বিশ্বাস এর জন্য প্রতিমা পূজা করা লাগে ,, তাহলে তো মুসলিমরা আপনাদের থেকে অনেক উঁচু স্তরে,, কারণ তাদের তো কোনপ্রতিমা মূর্তি পূজা করা লাগেনা,, তাদের ভক্তি বিশ্বাস ইত্যাদি আগের থেকেই আছে ,, তাহলে আপনার যুক্তিতে মুসলিমরা আপনাদের থেকে অনেক উচ্চ স্তরে,, ডক্টর জাকির নায়েক বলেছেন যদি কোন শিক্ষক তার ছাত্রকে শেখায় ,,দুই যোগ দুই চার তাহলে সেটা ,, ক্লাস ওয়ান ক্লাস ফাইভ ক্লাস টেন, গ্রাজুয়েট ,, তখনো দুই যোগ দুই চারই হবে,, আর যদি কোন শিক্ষক তার ছাত্রকে শেখায় যে দুই যোগ দুই পাঁচ,, তারপর ছাত্রটি যখন গ্রাজুয়েট এ যাবে তখন তার কি হবে,,,,,, মূলভিত্তি মূল ধারণা শক্ত হলে ভবিষ্যতে তার জ্ঞান ও শক্ত হবে ,, তাহলে আপনাদের পণ্ডিতরা ভালো করেই জানে যে বেদ মূর্তিপূজার বিরুদ্ধে, ,, আর এটাই মূল কথা যে ঈশ্বরের কোন প্রতিমূর্তি নেই আর আপনারা ঈশ্বরের কোন মূর্তি বানাতে পারবে না ,, তাহলে শিক্ষক কেন বলে দুই যোগ দুই পাঁচ,, ধর্মের অনুসারীরা যদি কোন ভুল করে উচিত তাকে শুধরে দেওয়া,, ,, তাহলে পণ্ডিতরা কেন ভুল শেখাচ্ছে,, ধর্মের অনুসারীদের,, আপনি আপনার ছেলেকে বলবেন ?? যে দুই যোগ দুই পাঁচ,, নাকি বলবেন আগে গ্রাজুয়েট হয়ে যাক তারপর বলবো,, আপনার ছেলের তখনই বলা উচিত যে দুই যোগ দুই চার ,, তারা যদি জানে সত্যটা ,,তাহলে মহান ঈশ্বরের পূজা করতে ,কোন মূর্তি ও প্রতিমার প্রয়োজন নেই,,,,
