Nestled on the Austrian / Italian border in the region of Carinthia (Karnten) in eastern Austria, join me to discover all about this secret hidden, away from the crowds, ski paradise. As the locals say, you will be in for a really Nice Surprise on the endless and deserted slopes serviced by one the most impressive ski lift systems in all of the Alps, combined with pure Austrian charm.
In this episode I travel the short distance from my base in Kransjka Gora, Slovenia, to find out more about this gem of a resort.
Note: The indoor filming took place after the relaxation of the Covid19 Austrian protocol rules on the wearing of face masks in enclosed spaces and on chairlifts.

pistes' maintainance is definitelly not on par w tyrolean resorts n also people do not go the extra mile to accomodate the tourists' wishes n needs... maybe beause of the balkan/eastern european influences ...
