I was there in the audience and I must say that not all of the audience were Harvard students. It was open for everyone. People from all walks of life were there. Not just Harvard Students.

Lessons 1: Say Namaste , Namaskaram not to just gurus but all Humans or elders .
Lessons 2: Read about Guru and the meaning of Namaste .
Questioner and Audience are sitting before Sadhguru, foolish. They don't have enough intelligence to go deep and only raised the questions for time pass.
So disappointing to see that none of the students had the decency to pay their humble obeisances to the Guru when they walked up on stage. Proof enough that they're actually uneducated in the true sense.

A note of caution...
I like Sadhguru a lot - he makes sense most of the time. He is quite articulate.
However, his advise to the young girl about not having children is really bad. Almost...un-Hindu. Sure, the world is overpopulated and it needs to come down. But the answer is to not not have children. Have just one child. It shows you life from another perspective. And over time if everyone does that, the world population will go down. It did not go up overnight - took a century. Let it take a century to come down. Have one child. Bring it up with love.
Also, the kind of people who listen to this are usually middle to upper class. The lower classes will merrily have multiple children who are not well cared for and will likely be low IQ. The movie "Idiocracy" comes to mind.
Also, young women may take Sadhguru's advise, and realize the folly in their late 30's or 40's when it might be too late. He won't be around to guide them what to do at that time.
I understand that he needs to say these things to placate the powers that be. But people should recognise the wheat from the chaff and take his good advise and discard the rest.
Where did sadhguru say to reduce the population overnight???.....While u say that these talks are heard only by middle nd upper class whereas 70 percnt of his programmes are organised in rural areas.....villages that might not show up on youtube ....; Please listen carefully before concluding....and about having children.....,your personal sentiment is of much less importance than the betterment of humanity....., Practically we are producing children faster than the earth producing resources......, So there needs 2 b a balance

We need to understand the context of guruji's words. He will give us the morsel but cant chew it for us. His intention was to say that we must have a fundamental reasoning for procreation. As it comes with lots of responsibilities. Im sure if we can just limit to 1 or 2 kids, and groom them to be a real value as an individual and the society, adding further equilibrium of harmony and development, then his real cause of child control reasoning would be answered.

Sadhguru has earlier explained that Invocation is the use of specific arrangement of sounds to set up a specific energy ambiance.

Just your Dharma is to do prescibed Karma for the greater good of the society while sustaining yourself. Attach your mind to the Almighty (Inclusive Consciousness) and detach from Maya (Material mesmarism). Practice Karma Phala Sanyasa Yog & it happens what Krishna suggested. This only happens through practice. If you are married be procreative with mutual consent as to how many and bring em up with good values instilled. If you chose to be a spinster/bachelor, it does not matter, it is good that you devote yourself to Almighty and preach that path. Castration is not male pride! It is taking away the procreative energies. Train your mind & intellect to control your desires. You can only do when you realize you are an Atman and follow a code of Morals/Conduct.

It doesn't appear to be 'students' conference' with the type of posture and mannerism of the students on the stage. Even to a class teacher our tradition prescribes humble manners from the students. But the arrogant ones, Indians sadly, studying in a 'famous' institution are even not responding to the folded 'namaskar' of the Sadguru, though Sadguru knows the stuff these rich and vain students studying abroad. He hopes to tame them with his wisdom and compassion. But it is sad to look at the stage with students sitting like top boss of some institutions. The age, wisdom and great works of Sadguru merits the highest invites from top organisations including UN but these vain youth are seated cross legged as if they are western elite, rather than the proud Indians. I am doubtful if these children would be influenced by the great Master of our time.

Sadguru is wrong when he says that Krishna till the age of 16 years was busy with butter , flute, and girls. Not true. Krishna was 12 years old when he leaves Mathura and goes to Dwarka to be crowned King. So while he was running behind Gopis he was a 12 year old boy. There was no idea of sex in his mind. The love between Krishna and the Gopis was Pure Love.
i think sadhguru spoke for nearly all of the 66 mimutes, and didn't give the other three an opportunity to speak. the man apparently likes his own voice.
the others were apperently tense and uncomfortable, partly because they know that sadhguru has a huge following in the audience, and any opposing opinion of theirs will not be appreciated, and probably silenced one way or the other.

Sadhguru is never talking about taxes. In Poland we pay approx. 85% tax (when you add all the taxes for one citizen). It's a crime. Nothing is more conducive for business than low taxes and stable tax law.
Those are two different economic models. You can't compare the two. Yours is a more socialist/communist economy. America has a more market economy.

I seriously did not see any point in his question. The context was very different for the points which Sadguru addressed in his answers. Sadguru could have elaborated on it ..may be due to lack of time he didn’t. Sadguru addressed the same in many of his previous discussions. First we need to address the basic needs of the people before talking spirituality to them.. and not everyone is open to spirituality..So a proper discussion is needed to address the issue which is acceptable to all and reduce such kind incidents rather than stigmatising the same.
