Well, I like both art and garden videos 😄
that’s lucky 😅
Lovely pond, wow! A creative artist at work in the garden is always fun to watch. I hope your back feels ok!
Thank you! Yes I felt all that digging the next day!
I am all for gardening vlogs! 👍 Well done, after some back breaking work you have got yourself a lovely pond! Now to anchore it in your landscape some water loving plants would be nice around it!
My dream is to have a nano waterlilly in my bucket of a pond, but the other half has set his mind on solar operated mini fountain. It looked pretty flimsy when it arrived couple of years ago and I was hoping that it's not going to spend a lot of time with us, but the bloody thing sure is stronger, than it looks, still works! 😁
Love your espalier trees, are they apples?
yes, I’m going to look into some native plants that won’t take over a small pond, and I’ve started transplanting some ferns and things from elsewhere in the garden to the rocks around it. I’m also considering a water feature of some kind too. we will see. and yes, the trees are both apple, and I’m really pleased with how they turned out. it’s a great way to get a fruit tree in to a small garden. plus, they provide a bit of shelter from the sun on the summer

Fish? That's another dumb dream of mine, I like koi Karp, only one has to have a huge pond to have them in...but it's so mesmerising to watch them swimming about. I've heard some Japanese people make them pets, they even can take them in their hands and tickle fishes bellies😄
But frogs are fine as well, plus they eat slugs!
I’d settle for some pond plants at the moment 😅
