    I am working on a graphgan with multiple color changes. My yarn tangling up made me absolutely wanting to quit several times. I even had to start over on it after I reached row 90 something because of the yarn tangling. Until I saw this..........I don't have a stand yet for mine but I have a makeshift something similar to this. And I ordered some of the spools from Amazon. This is amazing way to work graphgans. You saved me!!!!!!! Cause I was losing my mind! Thank you for making this!!!!! Best idea that works. No more tangles for me. Thanks to you!!!!

    That seems like a really great idea. My husband has a lot of tools and I told him if he buys one more tool he would have to build me something so I think I'm gonna get him to do that. I crochet a lot and I'm trying. Come up with a solutin to hold my arms. Yes, I'm working. I think it would also be good for somebody who doesn't have a lot of space to work or hand control.😊❤😮

      Yes! John did a great job on it!! It's so much easier with these spools vs those other things. Plus I can relocate I'm not trapped in one place!

      @@KnottingHookCrochet It looks like it can fold up too. Genius! And with larger projects I definitely prefer to be in a more entertaining area like the couch. 🧡

      @@AntisocialAuntie yes the legs fold back so it can be tucked away when not being used.😊

    I loved your idea so much I had my dad make me one. We used pvc pipe and some acrab wood for the ends. t's loaded and ready to go. He also made a piece for his drill to make winding faster.

    Thank, thank you. I just started my first graphgan, jungle baby blanket. What a nightmare with the tangle yarn. This is going to make it a breeze. Love it.

    Way to go John 👍🏽 you could probably put your whole skein on the rod once you work out the middle a bit.

      John says "I got Kudos"! He did a good job on the rack. I am going to attach some brackets above my desk as well for smaller projects.

    What a great idea! I'm struggling with a project now with 14 bobbins (and more to add); using a cart on wheels but still a mess. Im asking my husband to build me one like yours, but maybe make it taller and put coasters on the bottom so I can roll it around!

    Genius!! How do you wind your spools? Do you use a cake yarn baller and then slide them onto the spools?

    • @KnottingHookCrochet
      @KnottingHookCrochet  Рік тому

      I just wind them by hand. I had someone tell me they made a drill attachment to wind them.

    Pleas have your friend(John) do a video on how he made your stand. Do your stool have cut in it To secure the yarn when it is not unusual it does not unravel. Is there a tutorial on How to print out You'll pitch it so they'll be digital.

    • @KnottingHookCrochet
      @KnottingHookCrochet  Рік тому

      He just made it like a picture frame and put braces/legs on the to hold it up. You don’t need all that you could take a box or tote and notch out spaces to place the rods.

  • @tammyflinchum923
    @tammyflinchum923 9 місяців тому

    So when you turn the blanket, do you flip the rod?

    • @KnottingHookCrochet
      @KnottingHookCrochet  9 місяців тому

      You can do it that way. or always turn your work in opposite directions. Meaning turning to the right then next time to the left.

  • @srm142
    @srm142 Рік тому

    Would you mind sharing the dimensions of your frame? My husband is gonna try to make me one!

    • @KnottingHookCrochet
      @KnottingHookCrochet  Рік тому

      It is 29 inches wide and 21 inches tall. John made it bigger then I requested. You can really do any size you like it all depends on how many rods you want to attach. The hooks for the rods go on the front of the frame so I have even extended my rods out past the frame to fit more spools than would fit only on the inside of the frame.
