You’re so inspirational. I know that you’re husband is home with you and you don’t have a baby like I do, but with 4 children and dogs I’m using all my time to just to stay on top of my part time, dishes, floors and laundry for now until we start school. I admire you having the garden, animals and still finding time to stain a furniture or re do rooms! Love watching!
You are in a different season. I had all the stuff she had when I had babies and the other stuff was simply not a priority and everything was done half way. But my parenting suffered because there was just too much on my plate. Babies are the priority. If you can remove the excess during those years I would recommend it. I have regret and major guilt that I didn't have the quiet moments of just BEING like I had with my first child. I can tell my second and third children suffered from this huge difference in parenting.
It looks great! We already started but I’m working on our new homeschool enrichment for children with special needs I started this year for my daughter and some friends in our community. So far we just have 2 kiddos and their families but it has been wonderful to see all the kids working together, helping, learning, and sharing the love of Christ- I think it’s the best thing I’m doing in homeschool this year hands down. Still have a lot of work to do but it’s a definite labor of love.
I love this! I didn’t homeschool my kids, my youngest graduated twenty years ago 😮! No desire to do so then, might consider it if I was raising my family now. The idea of a separate space for homeschooling is perfect! The way you have this set up is fabulous! I did recently convert a chest of drawers drawer (we call it a Chester drawers here in Texas 🤣) to a jewelry drawer for my sterling silver jewelry. I sprayed the drawer with a fabric adhesive then lined it with a cloth that is supposed to protect silver. I am so glad I did that! That’s about as crafty as I get 😂! Your glass doors turned out beautiful ❤
Love the glass cabinets covered. I'm the same way...I don't care for all open look. It's too busy for me. Too much for my eyes. Can't wait to see the kid's rooms reveal. You certainly are a hard worker and have great taste! Love the way the house is coming together inside and out!

Hey Angela! Love what you did with the bookcase! And the table is absolutely gorgeous! The stain for the bookcase trim, "early american" is my go-to stain for anything I do. One thing I just got done doing is a "command center" with dry erase board calendar to plan the month and a smaller weekly dry erase board for food prep for the week. I think it'll be very helpful and get reminders off the refrigerator door. :) Thanks for all the tips!!
I love that table. I was tempted to start organizing my back to school corner while watching this, but I figured that it's best to finish back to school shopping first. ☺This is one of my favorite time of the year.☺
The grass cloth changes the entire room! I noticed that the new knobs on the dresser made it blend completely with the low dresser/drawers to the left of it, but law, law! The entire room is so well put together. The new knobs work like magic!
I love your decorating style! That made a world of difference on that cabinet. We live in a converted Houston metro bus so our weird back to school project is building in more tables for our 3 kids to do their school work at and adding shelves above the driver’s window for our school books.
I love how the cabinets turned out!!!! Gorgeous! This is our 3rd year homeschooling, ATM finishing up a kitchen reno, hope we will be done in the next 2-3 weeks before school starts and I'm giving the house a once over, going thru room by room washing bedding, linen, curtains etc. and finishing up little projects that I've put off .... Started working on setting up homeschool area, we use our dining room/ living room and trying to fit everything in so it functional but doesn't look like a classroom since its our main living areas .. and going thru supplies and deciding what we need to place order ...So much to do, so little time LOL!

Our IKEA furniture moves all over for years. I just bought a new Billy bookcase for our spare bedroom because we are beginning our homeschool journey this year!

I painted my door the other day and my husband came out and barked, "What are you doing!? You have to tape the windows." And I was just like, "Shh I watch Angie do this all the time. It's fine." LOL
I bought two new fabric drawer shelves. I also bought the same beige fabric drawer for the bookshelves in my kitchen (yes, in my kitchen) to hide the books. I'm working with small space, and it is not a show room, but I like that cleaner feel. I like espresso finish, but my living room is shaded all the time so I got white furniture and it looks really pretty with the olive couch and muted fuschia drapes (i say muted, but maybe a better word is pastel). it's not completely done, but it is getting better! I feel like I have too many binders... but I like binders... decisions, decisions...

I’m planning on painting a side table and turning it into a desk for my son. I need new bookshelves, so shopping for those. I just wanna redo everything ahhhh.....

Also my mom and my MIL are both ‘schooling’ my kids one afternoon a week to give me time to assist in a high school ESL class this year for extra income. It’s different, busy, so much fun!
I just finished filling a tote full of things from clear nail polish, candy, rubber gloves, magnets.... the list goes on... for science projects and experiments. Probably a little weird to some but I like it all together so I don't have to search or shop every week for what we need to do an experiment. 🙂😃
They make that grass cloth in a peel and stick wallpaper too... I'm a peel and stick wallpaper junkie...it's now in every room but one. Your room looks fabulous!
Girl! How can you paint and/or stain something and not get it on yourself and everywhere?? I start out trying not to get paint on my brush handle and end up with paint all over the place! I try so hard to not make a mess to clean up. 🤣🤣 I loved this video! You can keep adding (and adding) content and everyone will love it. I’m always sad when the video is over. Well, we are moving in the next few weeks! I am packing up all my school things 🤔 … oh, and going through your course! It is so centering and good for my soul, it will be our first year homeschooling full time our eldest (2nd grade) and her younger sisters … so embarking on an adventure!
Not totally wierd but we are working on our routine first and then moving school into our camper for a big test run. Sometime this winter we are going south for a month or so and plan on taking our newly purchased camper. 4 humans, 3 medium/large dogs and a rabbit. 😬😳

We have a spur of the moment move to a state 3 states over. My husband got a job offer last month and he put offer on a house and well....guess we are moving. Im purging and panicking. Its my second year homeschooling and now I'm busy packing for an out of state move. Lord give my strength 😩

Weird? Well.... I have 1800sq ft of 5yrs accumulated clutter in a 1200sq ft house with 6 humans. So I have been working ALL summer on ridding clutter, downsizing stuff, organizing scentsy (cause it's my side gig) and then had 3 grades worth of classroom size abeka curriculum donated to us!!! So my "Weird" is making our house saner and more peaceful-productive so we can begin fresh and focused this school year. Oh yeah... and I'm a ADHD procrastinated at its finest so that's a battle of self too!
I was a big dummy and decided to plan our big family vacation right in the middle of getting ready to start school back up plus fall activities getting ready to start. Somebody slap me the next time I propose the end of August for vacation!
my husband decided to buy land so now instead of starting school I’ll be working my tale off to get our place ready to hit the market. And then moving and all that. 🤪

Wish your made dield trips! I don’t decorate- literally- at all. Separated & renting big 2 story townhouse- I only have 2 pics on wall, mismatched stuff in an adulty shorty way, not like college cool shorty. Ugh. But I wish you were that same gal that takes off across the country to arrive and tell someone everything they should do even with what I have. I’ve got furniture I’m not even using that came from my friends house in Malibu, a beautiful bedroom set but to miss matched couches and I don’t even think I have my living room set up right. God help me I can barely get an outfit together
My weird thing to get ready for school is dyeing the rug under our table. Over the whole year our dog makes it dirty and her oils bleach the color out of it!!!!! I go for blue swirly instead of dirty filthy oatmeal color! Lol
I'm from Brazil and it's not common to study at home, why do you do that? Wouldn't it be easier for all children to go to school and socialize with other children? Are you qualified to teach all subjects for any age? I'm just asking because I've never seen this, please don't misunderstand
