Sometimes when you’re skiing you’ll come across a matrix of small dense bumps, like the hull of an egg carton, called ‘moguls’. Typically on these, the gap between bumps will be too small to turn your skis, so the only way of executing a proper turn is to turn about on the apex of the bump, where your skis can rotate freely above the surrounding lower snow, but (at least if you’re a bad skier like me) this produces a very unnerving feeling because your skis, which usually distribute your weight over a huge area, are left almost entirely unsupported, free-floating, with you standing on basically a single point. I get the impression that this is how seminar seven functions in the thought of lacan
at 07:05LGaufey says Like in the Bible, God created x and y, in clear male and female. But the Bible is not so bipolarised. We can read tjhe Bible as God created them man and woman ... each on,e of human being is created man and woman in their nature. I am a man (my body is male) but I know rthat I am a woman also, Independently of my sexual orinetation.
