    7.35d Luna Build
My hero guides are mainly for people learning how to play Dota or for those who want to learn how to play a new hero. I aim to teach people the general concept of how the hero should be played and what makes it unique. I'm a Divine player around 5k and don't claim to be the best at Dota, but I do have enough knowledge and experience to help you learn the basics.
I hope you enjoy the guide.

farming with maxed e is faster than maxed glaives, you're literally just griefing yourself
ive seen many pros also skip ult lvl6 in favor of passives or take blessing straight up lvl1 and put no point in beam or ult until passives are maxed and they have items to join their team in fights

The damage is for laning and global presence. The glaives are objectively better for farming in every instance other than hitting a single creep.
It's really not hard math to do. The two points (meaning either max out blessing or go two points in each) give either an extra 24 extra damage on a single hit or 45% damage reduction per bounce. Meaning, a single bounce is doing more damage than the extra damage you get from the blessing.
Even with only base 60 damage you are comparing 102 damage to a creep camp per swing to 93 damage per swing on a single bounce and around 127 on max bounces. And the higher the base damage the greater the difference. It's really not even close.

@@Docwell it takes a glimpse at dotabuff or d2pt to see that literally everyone playing at a high level is maxing blessing before glaives, surely there has to be a good reason for that?

@@tryhardedgelord Yes, I explain it in the video. It's for the lane. At lower mmr your farm is way more important than squeezing out the efficiently of 6 damage per level in the lane for you and allies. The opposite is true in high mmr, especially considering the global damage from min 5-10.

the thing is it’s 12 damage for yourself not just 6. are you sure the math is that clear?

@@17turtles Yeah, you're right it's double damage for yourself so I edited the above comment. Basically, it's a little more damage on a single bounce, but you're almost never getting only one bounce. So basically, the same rule applies. Moon glaives is always better in every situation other than those in which you're hitting a single creep.
