    ❤BIBLE VERSES OF THE DAY❤
    JAMES 5:13-16 NIV
13 Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

When the director Peter Berg was making this he met with all three of the fallen SEALs parents. And when he met Dan Dietz Sr. Danny’s father read him Danny’s autopsy report. “My son was shot in the left ankle. He was shot in the calf. He was shot in the groin. He was shot twice in the stomach. He was shot twice in the neck. He was shot three times in the head.” And when he finished he handed Berg the autopsy and said, “That’s who my son was. That’s how tough my son was. You make sure you get that right.”

What I love about that scene where they're discussing what to do with the two boys and old man is there all arguing and giving their opinion, pretty heatedly.. and then the one in charge makes the call and there's absolutely no argument. That's military discipline and efficiency at its finest. 😎🤘

Hollywood has a way of adding drama to movies to make them entertaining. But in this case a lot of what happened was actually toned down. Marcus was unable to walk after his final fall and crawled something like 6 miles before he was found. Then the villagers moved him many times to try to keep him safe. His book by the same title is incredible.

A similar military film based on a true story is "The Outpost" (2020). Also, another film is "12 Strong" (2018) based on the first U.S. military response to the 9/11 attacks. And I also highly recommend the film, "13 Hours" that has been previously mentioned. And there is "Act of Valor" (2012) which is another SEAL based film. BTW if you want to see a fictionalized military film involving a female SEAL recruit, watch, "G.I. Jane" (1997) starring Demi Moore. (You might understand Chris Rock's Oscar's joke better that had enraged Will Smith).

If you like to read, I cannot recommend Lone Survivor highly enough. The battle was much worse than what the movie could show and Marcus was alone and being pursued for roughly two days before being found and given sanctuary by Gulab. The Taliban knew he was in the village and at one point came into the village to torture him. The Taliban was getting ready to attack and decimate the village but before they could U.S.Army Rangers found and rescued Marcus.
The villagers took off his uniform and dressed him in traditional Afghan clothes. Marcus had a beard and was over 6 feet tall. Can you think of anyone else who dressed in traditional Afghan clothing, was over 6 feet tall, had a beard, and was being pursued by US troops. Marcus was really in danger from both sides!

I'm sure you're already aware but on the off chance, theres a channel called heather sinclair www.youtube.com/@heathersinclair4032 who is posting a lot of your reaction videos. Im assuming it's sketchy as the videos are in bad quality and the comments are turned off. Apologies if its a second channel or something you're ok with, I just thought it was wrong for them to use your videos and likeness to try and make a profit.
