They were given some additions like new spots, new objects (like spikes), etc etc. If you genuinely wanted to play this mod, it'd be difficult to without everyone using it. Say you're Chaos and theres a Knuckles 'magically levitating' in Hide and Seek. Sounds pretty unfair, yeah? I think the idea of it being more than a reskin mod is good, but it can end up looking like a cheat mod in public private servers (TD2D has a channel in their discord for finding people to play with in private servers.)
I like it a lot and I would love this mod in v1014 so those who can't play can play and enjoy this piece of mod of yours, take the time you need to do it
Could you please tell the creator of the mod, I don't have a discord account, we can't all play in the v100 version, if you can do it for v1014, everyone could play.
you can get banned if you port different map layouts into 1014 because people play on the base layout and not the mod so it will be harder for X’s to catch you
