The New Speedrun Map is INSANE

Plateup is if overcooked and cooking mama meshed together and made a roguelike, you create a restaurant as a group and have to survive to your 15th day. If a single customer is un happy, the whole restaurant closes down.

Yeah, at first i liked the pause but now im thinking of it i also agree, the planning is such a big part of the game

I think the bigger issue is that it works on modded and you have no separation between group and solo challenges. Being able to phase through walls on high speed in preparation mode is a huge chunk of time being saved, especially if you have extra hands.
But at the same time - it's not competitive. Speedrun communities and sites that take the recorded runs can decide on rules themselves.
But the in game mode only supplies you with a timer and a knowledge how many people were slower than you. There is no reward other than satisfaction and having fun and a challenge of doing 15 days as quickly as possible.

Bigger thing to consider is, that you can bring appliances! Have a danger hub at the start is a massiv help here!

Mods being allowed should never be a thing for speedrunning. Its far worse.

Always empty the bin when its full, a trash bag takes uo 1 counter space and only requires 1 trip to empty it, which means you can hold twice as many spines before going outside and do half as much running

What I like about speedrun maps is that - this is first time I ever used half of the shoes. The ones you can run on dirt with no penalty are extremely powerful here - which I learned during Stir Fry.
Also when you hit those metal tables at some turn - that's extremely nice feeling.
28:45 Tbh you skipped prep already - and that mixer would work perfectly in that pots spot.

I currently have a safety hob, smart grabber, and dishwasher in my warehouse. Which is awesome, except I don't wanna use em cause I never get stuff this good in my warehouse. 😂

I love the plateup videos but how is it that you always cover something with the cam, its not even the same thing always and its usually the day, the money, the line patience or this time the timer. Maybe im the only one but its quite frustrating.

There isn't really a perfect place to put the face cam in this game, maybe he just kept it in the spot of whatever game he played before this one, or he just doesnt like the look of it in the middle of a side

Technically bottom left is usually the best placement. I do think it would be nice if they made a streamer mode, where they put a specific indicator where to put the window and how big it should be + pushing all specific information outside that area.
