@@FreelancerTania-nz9xk I never heard of SEO and I just looked it up ... well, I cannot pay 1000 EUR upwards per month for optimizing my keyword etc. strategies, and I am making music and writing, I do not have staff. Nobody pays me for my work, but everybody wants to pluck me from all sides. On the other hand, youtube disposes of my copyrights as they please, I could only get protection with a monthly pay for a premium account, but still I would have to wait until I have 1000 subs and a larger amount of watch hours until they pay ME anything, which will be no more than a warm handshake, as friends here report about ad payments. Friends with around 20 k subs.
On the one hand, I would be happy to be more successful, on the other hand, I am happy about anyone who does not steal my stuff.
I had a new subscriber recently and it shows. Also, the views show. I only feel that yt does not suggest my videos, and I have optimized a lot myself in the meantime, but without any effect. Last year I worked day and night and had a nervous breakdown in September, followed by a live-saving break of 8 months.
I am happy enought when the people who find me like my music and my stories, and if somebody feels like recommending me, this makes me even more happy. So, have fun, thanks for your hints, but I have limits of what I can do about it, and I will never be able to live on it anyway. And I am not going to aim to make yearly tax declarations for those few cents they may pay me. All the best to you!
