⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ That is how you do it! I hope in time more managers respond like this. Fantastic 💚
He was amazing wasn’t he !
Amazing fella.
High praise from the master.
A great manager rather than a dictator.
Dude I know your not a factory tour channel but mate, this guy is passionate about what he does and deserves to be heard! Plus you will be surprised how many of us actually would watch and listen to him give an tour of this place 😂
Andy Simms of British Sugar, thanks for taking the time to educate the viewing public. You are a gentleman, sir
Andy Sims would have made a great teacher. The kind of teacher you remember years later, knowing that something they did helped you to be the adult you are today.
Nicely said!
Now there's a guy who enjoys his job and it shows.
Nice, friendly, well educated, polite.
British Sugar can’t be beeten.
I see what you did there 😊 😎
Sweet.
😂😂😂
Awesome job by British Sugar. Enjoyed learning about the process, storage and power generation at the site. Great drone footage of the many sugar beet processes and details. Thanks DJE Media, one of the most educational and fun audit videos. 🏆⭐⭐⭐⭐
Several great aerial photos from 1930 on Historic England and Britain From Above. British Sugar factory constructed late1920s as United Sugar and became part of British Sugar when nationalized in 1936. Much of factory included railway sidings and yard where composting is now conducted. Historically many factories had their own sports grounds, great to see it preserved.
Top man so informative
What a humble chap , and generous in the praise of others ( including the Auditors questions )
He shows us how BAD the other managers we see are .
Brilliant video an absolute credit to the company.. brilliant he actually took time to explain thing's.. instead of NOT ALLOWED 😂 xx
Good informative vid. Shines a good light to a British company
A company that's helping to poison the populace
That was probably one of the best audits I have seen, the Manager there was excellent, you can see how he got the job, he is definitely a people person and very calm and laid back considering his role in the company, many Managers in his position are arrogant and highly strung. Even DJ Audits thought it was amazing! Massive site too.
This is, to this date, the best video on this channel. More like this please! 😍
Brilliant man very informative 👍🏻he must love his job great video as always well done 👍🏻💯😀
Listen carefully Mr Chairman of British Sugar. Look after Mr Simms cos he’s special. !!!!
Working for that guy would almost tempt me out of retirement 😂
That guy was nice m8 explained a few things about the business as well he made it sound great they'll be making a fortune from waste as well as the products they get from sugar beat i got engrossed in his explanation made it sound great
Great one .
I live in Bury St Edmunds it’s a lovely town with lovely people. Focus pouch has been to Bury and he got same response at the police station too. Top job and good reflection on the town
*Pocus* 😂
guy was a gentleman
I think this is the first one that I want to tag BRITISH SUGAR to promote that guy they have a diamond ❤ nice encounter dje ❤
What an interesting video! 🌟
You haven’t watched it all yet 🙄🍬😂
But thank you 🙏 x
@@DJEMEDIA 25 mins watched in between working🤣 the place is absolutely massive.
Brilliant chap explaining how it is made
Didn’t tell you about the smell I worked on the hospital not far away in 74 to 75 installing all the drains underground and the smell revolting same as the one in Dunmow
Working at wissington, can confirm. The smell gets all on you and in your car. Very earthy potatoey smell
Suffolk
DJ, I dont ever bother commenting, but that was excellent. Manager was sound and informative. Fascinating to hear about the different end streams of the process. Friendly interactions as people passed too. What a great company. Would love to see you go back there and do a full video on British sugar. SWEET!
Oh and as an Irish man I want one of those jackets.
Take the gentleman up on the tour please DJE it will be very entertaining
Seconded!
This makes a nice change the guy is very helpful and friendly why can't they all be like this?
What a down to earth guy, and man did he give you some information, a big round of applause to him 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Now that's how to make a good impression for your business, this gent is worth his weight in gold to British Sugar.
Absolute brilliant, this has gotta be one of your best ones DJ.
A wonderful example of a company doing it right, and get that guy a pay raise, what a legend, great video that proves that good communication is as watchable as conflict. ❤ That one. 👍🏼👍🏼
Now if his kids ask what he does , he can just show them this and say he inspires people to work for the company .
What a thoroughly nice bloke
your best interaction to date m8...
good educational vid, big thumbs up
well done
fiver stars for your book 🙂
It's truly magnificent to have a feeling other than anger when watching management on these videos. I have this funny feeling that I can't pinpoint. It may be joy, good God i think I'm actually happy! 😂
Wow why can’t they all be like this guy what a star and great too hear all about the sugar industry.
What a gem! Best interaction I've seen and genuinely learned something new and gained an appreciation for something we all take for granted!
Now there is a guy that has fully embraced his job.
Great video and great information. More businesses need employees like this
Top Man Andy 👌👍 Thank you for explaining it all to the people watching !
What a fantastic manager well done British Sugar .
What a wonderful man.. loves his job and company he works for! So informative! Great job!
Awesome!
He must be an amazing boss to work for.
Excellent! This is how it’s done! Friendly and seemed proud about their process and product and was happy to share. This is what we want to see!
What a great bloke, makes a change when someone is helpful a good representative of British Sugar.
Great I've learnt so much about sugar
That's how to do it, lovely humble man and very knowledgeable, informative and friendly 10/10
sugar and spice and all things nice, sugar is sweeter than wine......
This guy loves his job. I really hope one of the audit guys can take him up on the offer. I want to see inside now!
Top marks to Andy Simms, what a great informative guy he is, with such a great passion for his job, absolute credit to the company.
What a lovely site manager he was. Very very interesting how he explained the processes. I would love you to go back there in "campaign". How brilliant that would be 😊😊😊. What a lovely company 👏👏👏👏⭐⭐⭐⭐ you asked some brilliant questions too 👍👍
Loved this guy Andy , what an interesting and informative video. I never knew we grew so much sugar beat in the UK. I can see why he is the General Manager, terrific, Very positive opinion on British Sugar now. And brilliant that they care so much about the nesting Falcons. 10/10
This is the best audit I have ever watched.
wow makes a change for someone to have such knowledge and educate us on how sugar is produced, more to it than i even knew, and such a pleasant gent . congrats to this company all round
Best one yet - really informative
That guy is a super star 🌟 👏
I hope you go back during their campaign....
Very impressive company
What a cracking tour, and great ambassador of the company
It's really quite interesting when these companies open up a bit... well done Mr British Sugar 👏 👍 😊
This video was an absolute gem and credit to you. Being from Kidderminster I saw the demolition of the old Kidder site and was to only one to take stills of the towers being eaten away by a massive machine, so glad I did as it preserves the history of the Sugar Beet at Kidderminster. And the video i did is on here too.
Love sugar! Carbs are life.
No they're not. Carbs are not essential and a detriment to life
This is brilliant, thanks mate 👏
I worked at British Sugar Newark back in the 1990s. Best company I have ever worked for.
Wow perfect audit definitely wanna see a revisit
Wow never knew how sugar was made till today what a educational video!
Brilliant.
Best video so far, really enjoyed it
Andy shows the clear difference between a manager and a leader. Bravo to him, and what a good hire for British Sugar.
I know BSE very well, was there today lol. Live in a village not far from there. Brilliant video!👌
Fantastic Manager ❤
Ive learnt more from this guy than my brother who works here. I ask my brother how does it work and i get "how the fuck do it i know, i just work there".
Who's your brother 😂
Great interaction it shows that British industry need not be afraid of a man with a camera.
😆😆 hes only worried about the birds 👌
He didnt mention GO APE , a brilliant climbing experience at the edge of town , in the woods. Huge place..has death leap.. from high up..u clip urself to it and jump, u bungee down then tarzen style across..ur left alone once taught how to use the harness clips(climbing clips) then off u go and follow routes easy, medium and hard.. you decide and can switch it up as go so can switch between at your own choice..doubt they let u film tho 😂😂😂 but be interesting place for drone as high up in tops of massive trees.
@Sol-Cutta, sounds interesting!! 😵💫
That was sweet
what a lovely man awesome x
Fascinating. Most of our sugar in Britain comes from sugar beet. South America use mostly sugar cane, if you ever get the chance to try “Mexican” Coca Cola with sugar cane, in glass bottles, served at 3 degrees, nothing better ❤ North America use mostly high fructose corn syrup, awful stuff!
DJ, this was your best video ever. I do hope that you do a follow up visit during the 2025 campaign. I live in the Everglades and here sugar cane is grown for sugar.
Watching this while sat in British sugar in wissington, very good response for em which makes me prouder to be here tbh
I didant no you had a walkie talkie dje lol good to have m8 ive got 3 of them just what ive had though the years gone buy nice bloke he was told you a lot interesting information like
An AMAZING response that makes me proud to have worked at the Cantley factory and at British Sugar's research labs back in the early to mid 1980s. This is EXACTLY how you do it!
Love to see a video tour
Nice to see, what a great guy.
My family operated with the newark factory and the norfolk factory, coincidentally the two living areas of the family (mothers and fathers side- nottingham and norfolk) they also supplied huge amounts of moss to horticultural manufacturers until laws changed and moss became a endangered or rather protected species of the ecosystem.
Now if his kids ask what he does , he can just show them this and say he inspires people to work for the company .
This was like OUTSIDE the factory
Very interesting video
CHP system very nice
My family had a hand in the sugarbeet buisness in the 50s-70s.
Great video, did you film Sealeys while you were in BSE? I thought I saw you but have not seen a video yet
he must have a background in PR 😄
Loverly Sugary people ✅✅✅✅✅✅
Thats how to get a promotion 👍
Very nice man
What a great guy. I would work well with him
Awesome video ❤
what an amazing guy - I already know that he deserves a raise and some recognition. Come on bosses
well done that man so polite and informative. a credit to the company.
