  • After three trips to the 'Middle Kingdom' in eight years (ten museum visits) I was compelled to edit the footage I have been privileged to come back with into this comprehensive DVD on chinese ceramics, unfolding in dynastic order.
The majority of the commentary within comes from a remarkable tour of the Shanghai Museum by a curator there. Additional comments are made by Coeleen Kiebert (M.S., UCSC).
Please visit her website for more information: www.coeleenkiebert.com

Thank you for this video. It was very enjoyable. I went to China in the late '90s and before these museums were there. I have been collecting Chinese art and I appreciate learning more about the different dynasties.

Great video. Comprehensive information about porcelain developement over the Dynasties. Some of the museums I did have a chance to visit. Aside from the excellent narration it is very relaxing to look at the beautiful pieces and listen to the very much matching music. Thank you so much for uploading.

I like the tour guide speaker's voice style. She speaks English very well. Her tone is strong while also very feminine. Maybe even seductive in a way.
For what it is worth to say it.
